Bitcoin is a new technology with great support from people all the world. Different countries have their laws, the issue of Bitcoin legality is dependent on your country and your Bitcoin related activities. There are countries where Bitcoin is considered legal, some countries are still debating about it while some countries considered it illegal.

Apparently, but the anonymous nature of it's operation is a favorite for criminal activity, it's decentralized and completely new nature may have the authorities stumped for the moment.

Bitcoin are not under controlled by any institutions or any nations therefore it cannot categorised as legal or illegal. We can say it illegal for any person who use them for illegal activity.

Bitcoin is of interest to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and legal regulators, all of which are trying to understand how the cryptocurrency fits into existing frameworks. The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are, where you live, and what you are doing with it.
In my opinion Bitcoin is legal because there are no laws that says that it is illegal. The best move that a government can do is to regulate the exchange because it is where the can enforce laws if ever they want. It would also be beneficial to all the users if government would regulate exchanges because the can protect users from scams and frauds.

Yes its true that bitcoin is legal or not is depending on where we live because not all country state that bitcoin is legal or not.
I dont agree if we say bitcoin is legal without know where we are because if you say bitcoin is legal but you stay in china of course is not true.

It is a matter of who you ask and when. Right now there is a lot of controversy about the legalities of bitcoin, how it should be taxed and if it should or can be legal for gambling. Bitcoin legal it is depends on what country you live in.

In some countries bitcoin is not considered as payment gateway but it does not mean that it was illegal. They are strict on implementing rules and regulation regarding bitcoin.as we all know bitcoin can use in other illegal things that's why some countries ban bitcoin. For our country bitcoin is pretty much legal but you need to comply all the requirements if you want business with bitcoin.

Yes I agree with you. About bitcoin is legal or illegal, it depends on you being a citizen of what country and what you do with bitcoin, whether it is against the law or not. If it violates the law clearly it is illegal. Is there someone who has dual citizenship, where in one bitcoin state is legal, and illegal on the other side? it will be a unique case.

I think whether bitcoin is legal or not dependent on individual countries because they have their own policy on crypto currency, there are some countries that use bitcoin in the country and of course for the country, bitcoin becomes legal but there are also some countries which prohibits the use of bitcoin so in that country could bitcoin be illegal

Bitcoin is a technology of digital currency of the future and is used by the world community. So, the legality is returned to each country, whether the country will accept Bitcoin as a transaction tool or not. But there are some countries that use bitcoin as a medium of exchange rather than as a legitimate transaction tool.

yes, it's true that the bitcoin's legality will depend on the policy of a country to be done. and as in my country for now bitcoin is not a legal currency to be able to do transaction activities because for a reason there is already an official fiat currency that can be done for the transaction. but in terms of storing wealth assets with investments in bitcoin there is no prohibition. so I think this is a pretty good policy that exists in my country because even though there is no bitcoin legality in place but on the other hand there is no prohibition on storing wealth assets in the form of bitcoin.

Unlike illegal, counterfeit money, which is a blatant example of a "currency" that misrepresents itself as legal tender, Bitcoin is entirely different. Nevertheless, it operates in a seemingly gray area when it comes to regulation.

In our country, in the southeast asia, bitcoin is neither legal nor illegal. However it is widely accepted even banks are open for transactions.
And our government is now planning to put regulations in place and possible taxation protocol.
Everything about cryptos, especially bitcoin is really great.
