I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

Damn, too late! There was a time this year I thought I was the very last person buying HBN, now everyone wants it. But as I stated earlier, the buy walls push the price up so strong that there are a very few buying opportunities. Next stop 0.00027?

What is the number of the block in your client?
Which explorer are you using?
What is the balance difference?

If you use CryptoCoinExplorer as a blockexplorer don't worry. The blockexplorer is not accurate, it always shows too much. So if that's the case, trust your wallet balance.

If you read this dreamwatcher, maybe you should talk to presstab. His Cap explorer is way more accurate than CCE where it concerns balances of addresses.

Strange, I tend to get more on the explorer too, but it tends to fix over time. Sorry for not being able to help you more, but I would certainly trust the wallet.

Have to say, loving this coin....

I started buying this coin back in early June just to stake it, and it's been the best ROI ever.

The fact that it's so hard to buy-in to this coin is a good indicator that the coin is undervalued. Nobody is selling, or has been selling for a while now... But there are plenty of buy orders there to catch it when someone does sell.

I sold few today, needed the cash, felt bad though.

I was mining it since 2013 at that time i was averaging 1500 coins a day. Good days now I am staking it only, I no longer have mining rigs.

Hmm, I've noticed a weird thing with my wallet.

I downloaded the blockchain over again after I was getting out of sync messages.

Now http://hbn.cryptocoinexplorer.com/rich is stating I have more BTC than my wallet shows.

The rich list says I have 86.5k but my wallets saying 82.8K

I have a question I need to pose to the users of POS chains.

When accounting for the number of transactions on an address, would you consider the address on a POS stake TX to have one or two transactions?

I can see it both ways.

Technically, it appears to be one transaction as it is one transaction hash.

However, the address is in both the TXIN and TXOUT in the transaction, so the argument can me made that it should count as two.

How do you think an explorer should count it?

Nothing to do with you question, but can you please take a look at how you get actual balance of an address?
At this time, i have 21150 hbn
On your explorer, it report 21745 (+595 from reallity) and diff keep raising over time.
But on hbn.blockx.info my balance is right there  Roll Eyes

http://hbn.cryptocoinexplorer.com/address?address=ErmqaiunrcguMEhpDP5uqEQhRKmn3oViWv
http://hbn.blockx.info/address/ErmqaiunrcguMEhpDP5uqEQhRKmn3oViWv

You can compare both.

I did not realize its scope of this issue until recently.

I posted an explanation here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=678849.msg11267668#msg11267668

As I posted, it starts to show up more as the number of account transactions start to go in the thousands.

It appears the difference between in the numbers quoted above is about 2%. That would be within the realm of rounding differences with a large amount of transactions.

The next version of CCE (CCE 4.0) corrects this issue.  Smiley

wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix my balance.

moved 30k hbn to a new add in the new wallet before the upgrade
my balance on that wallet on the overview tab is  xxxxxx,  if i look on transactions tab the total is 6000 hbn higher

just imported my old key into a new wallet to check the missing hbn are not there, ran repair and check wallet, the balances on that wallet are 0 in overview and .001 in transactions, so i dont believe they are there

i have run repair and check wallet on the main address, the discrepancy is still there, 6000 hbn difference

any other commands i could try to recover the missing / hidden coins ?

thanks

backed up my .dat
used that command and balances were both at 0, that confused me
so i removed the command and put my backup . dat in place
restarted and now both balances match, unfortunately at the lower value, but at least its consistent

not sure if i used the command wrong, i dont use a conf and always just adapt the filename of my qt shortcut, adding the commands there, always seems to work

i guess the higher no in transactionns was an error then?

I also create a .bat file and put
Code:
start HHoboNickels-qt.exe -zapwallettxes
then just run the .bat file only that one time. But what you did should have worked, although you only want to run it once.

HBN qt wallet currently pushes close to 1GB on the memory.  Shocked

It is becoming a bit of a concern, the HBN blockchain is gigantic. Have there been any suggestions on how to manage this going forward?

I've had to remove mine from my PI, its just not capable of running it with any confidence.

It is getting very demanding to run, but not sure if this can be helped.

My dedicated staking machine is a mini pc with a 1.8ghz Atom processor and 1 gb of ram.  HBN just barely runs. It frequently goes to 'not responding' even though its the only application I have running. I am running the Windows version, I may try the a linux client to see if I can get more performance (I figure running something like Puppy Linux at least would free up more system resources).

But ya, 1.8Ghz with 1 gb of ram in Windows and I can barely even get to sync again (my blockchain got messed up and I've been trying to resync for a least week using the downloaded blockchain but not having much luck).

Not that I'm complaining, I realize a lot of processor power is required. But wanted to say for others who are looking at using a dedicated staking machine, you'll probably want 2GB o rammage.

Side note: damn, wish i bought more coins at 0.00003. I don't know if we'll ever see that price again, who knows.
