Their replies might as well have been cut and pasted from the CAP
replies I received when CAP had the problem some months back.

The good news, it took a while but eventually their "wallet specialist"
got it fixed.

Cryptsy HBN Withdrawal Alert

I've just tried to withdraw a large amont of HBN from Cryptsy. Only half were sent. I tried to withdraw the other half, but only a quarter of that amount were sent. If withdrawing HBN from Cryptsy, be aware of this. No money has gone missing - at least not yet anyway. The full amounts requested for withdrawal are not being met. I've issued two support tickets and will report back as soon as I hear from Cryptsy.

Has anyone else been similarly affected?

same problem ,  i had to withdraw 4 times to complete it
i already report it to cryptsy 2 weeks ago
it works a few days and it happen again after

probleme is also we pay lot more fees , more than double (1st time i had the problem no fees was count  but now it is)

so and why is this coin not on other exchange , to good for yobit ?  Grin

Cryptopia

If you are looking for exchanges that have HoboNickels listed try Cryptopia: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/

Cryptopia has been around since 2014. Besides HoboNickels, Cryptopia has a large selection of altcoins and gives me the impression that it is really trying. There is a lot going on there.

HoboNickels are listed in six altcoin markets on Cryptopia:

  • Bitcoin/HBN
  • Litecoin/HBN
  • Dogecoin/HBN
  • Feathercoin/HBN
  • Popularcoin/HBN
  • Unobtanium/HBN

... so there are plenty of opportunities for arbitraging!

Cryptopia is based in New Zealand, which means that it is less prone to US regulation and clampdowns. I still like Cryptsy, but they are currently going through some turbulence. Cryptopia could become a good standby if Cryptsy, God forbid, goes down for any reason. Cryptopia deserves to succeed IMO.

https://www.facebook.com/cryptopiaexchange
https://www.linkedin.com/company/cryptopia-limited

Airlift some BTC, HBN and other altcoins over there and let's give them some custom!  Wink

Re Cryptopia: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/

It is not only Bitcoin/HBN - they are all there!
Here's what to do:
Log in > click on 'Exchange' - true you will see Bitcoin as the default on the base markets menu, but if you click on the other base markets in the drop down menu, you will find that they are all there. Click on any of the above mentioned base coins and you will see active trading with HoboNickels and many other altcoins. Yesterday, I successfully traded Dogecoin for some HoboNickels at a ridiculous price on Cryptopia.

They also have an interesting arbitrage page which compares the prices of altcoins on some well-established exchanges, including Cryptsy.

If they need more traders, then let's get on over there and do some trading. That's how the wild west was won!

That is mostly going to impact CPU consumption, memory will stay about the same. As far as I have learned, an old chain with too many blocks coming in (more than 1 per minute) will consume a large amount of memory due to several different std::map that are stored in ram. Fuzzbawls and a few others are working hard to fix this on MintCoin, best to watch the progress there.

"Yobit pump alert software" Link in my signature!

HBN has been around so long , isnt it time for it to move to Bittrex? I mean I cant imagine Bittrex not accepting HBN.

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

I've read a couple of recent muck-spreading articles about Cryptsy, largely based upon rumour. The articles were overly-biased against Cryptsy. I'm sure most of you are aware of them. Hardly impartial journalism. There was much presumption and very little fact - and presumption being pushed forward as fact. I believe that Cryptsy is being targeted by unscrupulous people - possibly even bankers/criminal elements. DDos attacks, spamming with micro-amounts, rumours etc. Here's what Paul Vernon has to say:

I for one like Cryptsy and trade there a lot. I tend to ignore
a lot of the news because journalism is not the fact based
reporting it once was.

But the reports that they are under Federal investigation got my attention.
Are you saying that is not true?? Even if it is, I hope they come out the other side
well and improved , if improvements are necessary.

I doubt whether Cryptsy have much to fear from what I've read. Probably a storm in a teacup and people trying to push an agenda. Cryptsy have been around for a long time and despite the odd hiccup, I've found them to be intrinsically trustworthy. If the Fed are investigating, I think they will find Cryptsy to be in the clear. Like yourself, I believe that Cryptsy will come through this even stronger - possibly wearing Fed clearance as a badge of honour. How many other exchanges could claim that?!

I doubt the Fed has any good reason to want to shut Crypsty down and some very good reasons such as tax collection to see that it continues.  Possibly there could be some misguided big money interests not wanting what they may feel as competition or some other agenda's at play here - I don't know.  If anything I think that shutting Crypsty down might force things to go much more underground with direct trades happing through escrow type contracts on block chains that support this – something to be avoided perhaps if government intelligence isn't an oxymoron. Wink  After all this is an economic activity providing stimulus at a time when the economy could use a big boost - hopefully this is all not just wishful thinking on my part.
