HBN reached 75k for a short period of time. Now there are like 5 time more nickels than that time , frankly it is unlikely we reach any price close but who knows. Actually we should not overestimate Tranz "Hello, I might do something" cryptocurrency need much more than technical tweaks like tge old days. Some PR needed as well .. but this is more about community ..

My dream is a coin, where every single individuum can solve one block a week, and gets a reward for it, which could be seen as a basic income. My main problem is, to hinder people, to register more than once.
that's a good idea. i have similar ideas as do others. the main problem as always is abusing the system.

Well I got the first step of the dev server complete. I got my wallet syn'd up. It was about 2 year behind, and took a little more then 2 days to catch up. I don't think 1 day per year is too bad.
Been trying to get my bitcoin wallet syn'd from start. It has been 5 days and numerous problems. Hopefully it finishes. But still estimates 2+ days....

If you haven't synched a bitcoin wallet for a while, you are in for a little surprise.

Tranz happy to see you back sir! Hope to see some great progress made. If you were able to get the resource consumption reduced for HBN, I think it would really be a game changer. For info above... HYP is at 1028083 blocks with 462MB memory usage. HBN is at 5242362 blocks with 2.2GB... so the memory usage is about equal per block... Keep in mind that blocks is not the only contributor to memory consumption. I have about 100mb more memory consumption than that on HYP, and thats running headless. So transaction count is a major contributor.

There is more than 1 btc for sale on the btc market there at 47 sats. Somebody took a thin market, the doge market, pushed the price up, now is trying to get people to buy their coins on the btc market. Very scuzzy.

Glass must always be half full for you.
Everyone knows those rocket increase in % are very temporary , but they are fun to watch.
Now it is still UP (36.30%) , and that is at your 49 sat wall of 1 BTC.
Caps Users thicken those walls up , otherwise your price will go up again.
╥AztekPhoenix
The doge price right now is the equivalent of 158 sats. There are 3 wallets at Cryptopia that have almost all the CAP on that site, 3,900,000 , 2,300,000 and 1,720,000 . So it is a very pumpndump market. The 2,000,000 at 49 sats have to be owned by one of those wallets, so if there are no more sellers that step in, as you say, then the price can be pushed up very high, but obviously it will crash soon after. HBN too, has 3 main wallets, 1,100,000 , 831,000 and 383,000 . So one or two people largely control that market. I have owned both coins almost from the day they were first traded, and know there is good distribution on both, but the trading right now is purely pumping and dumping by a few people and not good for the image of the coins. You might remember how CAP was traded on cryptsy, one person virtually controlled the market, and if you stepped in with an order you would get run over, same now on cap and hbn. CAP got a reputation as being kind of sleazily traded and the coin crashed every time it started to take off. It's very nice if somebody wants to make a quick buck like that, but people should pay attention to the long term interests of the coin as well. That trading does not help.

You are wrong. The group of all rebalancers are controlling the market. If I'm the only rebalancer, than me is the only person who is controlling the market. And all others will deliver.

You are wrong. The group of all rebalancers are controlling the market. If I'm the only rebalancer, than me is the only person who is controlling the market. And all others will deliver. I do not know what you mean by rebalancer. If you mean arbitrage bots that work across currencies on the same exchange, then you are probably right. But a person with such a bot can just sprinkle some expensive coins on a thin market e.g. cap / doge , then watch the price seem to jump and a bunch of people will get an inaccurate impression of what the coin is doing. It's very unlikely though that a bot decided to buy cap for doge at several times the btc / cap price. More likely somebody trying to give the appearance of a bull run. Anyway, that kind of stuff is profitable for whoever is doing it, but it is harmful to the image of the coin. There was a lot of discussion when people were doing that on cryptsy, I remember florin was even worse than cap, but I guess look at florin now ha
