switching to 1.5.3 is a kind of vote ? if majority stays with 1.5.1 including cryptopia and fairglu's explorer they will be on diffrent chain than 1.5.3ers after mentioned blocks?
Yes and No. Those on anything less then 1.5.3 should stay on the same fork as 1.5.3 unless they turn off Check Pointing. The worse case is they accept a bunch of invalid blocks and when a valid block comes in, all of their invalid blocks will turn in orphans and the wallet will re-organize the chain to the 1.5.3 version. The Checkpoint sever will be running 1.5.3 well before the cut off block, and I will send alerts to the other older versions letting them know to upgrade or expect issues. Really if 30% of wallets upgrade we should be fine. |

I updated hobonickels.info to make links correct. Not to much change to front page content. Does anyone want to give it some time to check it over make sure I didn't miss anything?
Also does anyone want to work on the wiki or news section? I will add a few news posts here soon, and maybe to the wiki, but it is very low priority. If others want to contribute just let me know. It is a private wiki page due to bots! But I can add others.

Yes but they are saying they will not update until it is pulled into the main repo https://github.com/Crypto-Expert/HoboNickels. I have messaged Ahmed, but he is away. Does anyone have another contact for him? Edit: Ok I did get hold of him and he pulled it in. Mr reliable. Unlike devs that take 2 year vacations!  |

Nice... One thing to keep in mind, that when a wallet is turned off (no deposits) the price can be artificially inflated due to lack of new coins. 1.5.3 update done here Thanks! Went ahead and updated to 1.5.3.1. This will now allow you to start and stop staking with a click of a button or rpc command. Also as a startup switch. https://github.com/Crypto-Expert/HoboNickels/pull/29 Also do we have any Mac Compilers here? I do have an old Mac, but I have not done it before. So I can learn it, but it will take away from my dev time to set that all up. If someone can help out, that would be great! |

Noticed that, that site is slow as molasses. Uploading a brand new blockchain (as of ~15 minutes ago) to Mega right now. Going at 2mb/sec, so will be another half hour or so, before it's uploaded. |

Still showing under maintenance for me too. Yeah, I need to keep some coins on reserve for these artificial spikes in demand. Price had jumped past 200 satoshi and ate my higher limit coins. |
