He received an email saying his google accounts were compromised and to please click on this link to fix everything. Next thing he knows he has a trojan that stole everything. It was 12k TEK and 340k HYP. The 10k or so sell that ThunderToe mentioned, is probably it.
So the moral of the story is that if you have reason to believe your accounts are compromised, don't click a link. Type the domain into your browser manually and change the passwords manually. Even if you think the email is from google or somewhere official, do everything manually.
It is impossible to infect computer with trojan or keylogger by merely click a link. There was always something else besides a mere click - download and run something, allow Java stuff to run and so on. You could PM him for exact details I am sure.

Is it correct that the proof-of-stake diff is @ 0.00154813 ?
How much % does that give?

We have already posted some numbers on few previous pages, go check them and approximate. I think thundertoe even posted a formula for PoS reward based on PoS difficulty.

What is the command for retrieving the POS profitability %??? At the current POS difficulty?? Is there any chart to lookup the POS difficulty as it seems important to track it for more staking!!

This is what i found in the list: 0.00015 is around 35% per month, 0.00025 is around 30% per month, etc. But as you can see, with the "getdifficulty" command it is around 0.0016 now. That means almost no % :-s That's why I asked, because or I use the wrong command, ar we are far from the previous 40% we had.

Depending on how the situation plays out over the next month, we may be headed for another hardfork to make some adjustments. Working on a plan for that already just in case its needed it will be ready to go.

Dont forget about Comkort. Would be nice to see the buys and sells getting distributed over the two available exchanges.

Perhaps having discussion over which changes to make would help prevent complaints/issues? Just a suggestion.

I am guessing it may be needed in an effort to fix the high orphan rate while mining. It is important to fix the high orphan rate or Tekcoin will suffer.

Yes... I agree... but I also think that any change in the coin should have at least a little stake holder input... Most likely there is and I'm just not invited...

I think any hard fork should also include a GUI based Stake 4 Charity. Maybe call it TekSend or something. I really like the idea behind being able to send a % of staked coins to exchanges, and this helps automate it.

Would help to have a set of beta testers and/or a "TEK board" of people who have skin in the game...
