You can invest in both of them. Because bitcoin and ethereum are the major coin of crypto market.
I agree, of course you need to invest in both crypto-currencies, but I would like to anticipate the favorite. I think Bitcoin is more stable. |

Bitcoin is more stable, but it is never giving us such returns just like Ethereum tends to do, i prefer Ethereum because it is more useful than bitcoin. You can invest in both of them. Because bitcoin and ethereum are the major coin of crypto market.
I agree, of course you need to invest in both crypto-currencies, but I would like to anticipate the favorite. I think Bitcoin is more stable. But to be honest, they both are the most important cryptocurrencies at this moment. |

BTC will benefit you with fast time, BTC prices can rise at any time significantly. The best time to buy is when market prices are down, you can wait 1.5 years in the future, I think that's enough to give you a big advantage. If you choose ETH you will need a very long time to earn big profits, because the increase in ETH is slow, unlike bitcoin, and the profit earned will not be as big as your profit from bitcoin.

The reason I chose Bitcoin was because it ranked No. 1 in the crypto market, it's very popular, it controls the market, and its price increases very fast. Investing in Bitcoin will make you a good profit, but it will be very safe to invest in Bitcoin because when prices fall you will not have to worry much as the market is starting uptrend and may reach 30,000$ this year. The best advice is to keep a lot of Bitcoin and wait for the price to increase then sell it all at the price you want the most because when you are profitable you will have the pleasure to invest in other coins. |

Now the bitcoin has started to rise, automatically the price of ETH has also increased. But please note that BTC and ETH have their respective characteristics. The number of increments between them is very far apart, bitcoin is much higher than ETH. You will get a greater profit than ETH if you choose bitcoin for the long term. In a period of about 8 months, you will get a big advantage of bitcoin, especially if you do it much longer.

I am confused about these two (BTC and ETH), which one is best to invest/hold for long term ?? How much time I should hold from these two?? Price is going up now a days, what is the best time to buy ? I should wait for buy right now ?
The first thing to do is not make your long-term investing decisions based in the price action for the last few days or weeks. The second thing to do is thoroughly research the pros and cons of both Bitcoin and Ethereum. Third, make up your mind on what you find promising for the long-term and where you see the most potential. Also remember that it is perfectly ok to have a mix of both, i.e. your portfolio can contain x% BTC, y% ETH and (100-x-y)% others. These values need to be determined by you, not someone on the forum. Do your homework!! Well said my legendary friend. The thing is, I think the OP is looking for opinions that will help him make his decision on whether which to buy more of. I feel like your post would have been much better if you also pointed out which you think would be a better investment. As for me, my vote goes for ETHEREUM because do your homework. Hehe. |

What happens with ETH in the last 2 years is more fantastic than bitcoin, ETH is more flexible and easy to use, besides with 1 ETH wallet we can keep hundreds of tokens so I'm sure that the future of ETH is more promising.
I agree with you . ETH has far more potential than all the coins in the market. If you invest in ETH, you will definitely receive a huge profit because ETH is using the smart contract platform and you can invest in ICO projects easily without many problems. I personally always choose ETH because their community is very large and the development team is great There's no better cryptocurrency but Bitcoin , ethereum are an altcoin where people nowadays look so interested due how its multifunction not just as a currency but a platform to create other cryptocurrency , that's not enough to make you have nice profit , huge profit but at least it guarantee you to get something valuable in the future. I would still choose Bitcoin over ethereum , it's like my second option . |

It is impossible to say exactly what will happen tomorrow with the crypto currency. But the market shows growth almost all the coins that are in the top 10. I think the predictions are true BTC and ETH will rapidly go up in price |

Both are the best coins to long term investment, most of people here are choosing Bitcoin because they think that the market cap of Bitcoin is the bigest so Bitcoin is better and safer than Ethereum. For me, if i have to choose one, i will choose Ethereum because now Bitcoin price is high and difficult to it increase 3x or 4x, while Ethereum price is still low compare to its potential. Ethereum price can quite go up $3000 in 2019 so now is best time to buy ETH. You need to look at the progress rate of both coins. In addition to this, try to get the present amount, demand and community of each coin. Just because bitcoin is a way too expensive than any other coins, does not mean it is done growing up. It is due to this coin that Ethereum is also able to move forward. Bitcoin has a long way to go and can bring the biggest profits possible. |

For most of user bitcoin is prime rest including ETH are second or third or next in the line. Mainly they pick bitcoin cuz of price but some have good perspective like ETH.
Bitcoin will always be prime but ETH is coin who constantly follow bitcoin in everything and maybe in some point is far more better then bitcoin.
