I think holding bitcoin and ethereum for a long time is a good idea. Because the price of both coins is unpredictable, and I would rather keep my wallet not to sell this coin coin, because maybe these coins will rise again and will give you more profit, because this coin coin is very amazing.
I would love to have both of them for long term investment in my portfolio. This is something that can really give you some good money. Just think about those who had had these both crypto in their portfolio in 2017 and cashed in the boom. They are still the investor and are not affected by the fall in the values of the crypto because they have invested a part of their profit which is some thing an additional investment for not money. Holding both these can maximize the profit in long run. |

Bitcoin will have a steady growth in compare to ethereum , bitcoin will remain at number 1 position for 4-5 years at least , while ethereum 2nd rank in marketcap depends on its future and scalability issues for congestion in network . it can go up faster but also if some other projects brings better smart contract technology then it will move down . so hold bitcoin more and also hold ether but less than bitcoin .

that's right what you say. and from last year I invested heavily in bitcoin and ethereum, because they are great for long-term investments and both are very profitable too, so they are excellent for investment |

I choose ETH, this coin has at least some future, and BTC is obsolete, soon its price will go even lower than now.

I think Bitcoin and Ethereum are very worthy coins to hold in the long run. And I personally advise you to buy both of these coins. I'm sure you will not regret believing these two coins. |

These two are a good investment. For today, they are the best and most reliable coins. So if you just want to buy and not touch them for several years, then your decision is right. Each of these coins has its positive sides and in the future will bring profit, so it does not really matter which of the two coins you choose. Of course it will be better if you share your deposit for example 50/50. But you yourself have the right to make this decision.

Yes. Investing in both would be a good option. It is not really recommended to invest in just one coin because there is a possibility that when the investment fails, you don't have an alternative investment to depend on. We know that bitcoin is the one ruling the cryptocurrency prices nowadays but along with it, ethereum has a chance as well to have a bigger chunk of the crypto market because many ICOs use its blockchain for their projects and it is one of the projects that are use for its actual use case. |

They are both for long terms but for an experienced trader, you should also practice them on doing short term trading. You need to adjust with the current state of the market so if you're okay with your profits that you are going to receive in the next few years then that's fine but wasting those opportunity is really not practical.

I'm more confident of ETH Right now than on ethereum. a bitcoin itself will be shifted. I believe it will happen to bitcoin with the growth of the ethereum platform this year as evidence is not impossible in the next year

I believe that both Ethereum and Bitcoin are suitable for long-term investments. The first - because it will be sharding, the second - because it is planned to launch ETF.

I only choose Bitcoin for long-term cryptocurrencies, first because of personal hobbies. Secondly, I think Bitcoin surpasses ETH in terms of scope of use and actual effect!

for long term investment, these two coins are very good so I suggest to split the capital on both of these coins, you can divide 50% BTC and 50% ETH on your portfolio.
