Hey all.
I am confused about these two (BTC and ETH), which one is best to invest/hold for long term ?? How much time I should hold from these two?? Price is going up now a days, what is the best time to buy ? I should wait for buy right now ?
You can shop now. The market is marking time. I think that we are waiting for the next growth, but there is such a possibility that before takeoff, we can still fall. |

if you want to invest for a long term good choice is BTC, while ETH is good choice for short term. Neither of which this two you will choose it will still bring back your investment for sure. Both coins is good for investment.

Now is the best time for you to wait for eth to go up to $1000 before you buy it? The price of bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency, is a little too high, and it is not recommended to buy it.
imho, I do not think that is sound advice - waiting for ETH to reach $1000 before one should buy. The principle is to buy on the dip and sell when it peaks. By the way, the op wanted to know which asset is best for holding and which is good for investment. I would say both are good for holding and investing, only that ETH has a more preferred investment prospect for ICOs, while BTC has a more profiting index for trading activities. |

Any of these two coins are good, taking into consideration their market caps. You can diversify your investment, perhaps 60% for Bitcoin and 40% for Ethereum. |

I would keep both bitcoin and ether, of course everyone will choose proportions. Bitcoin is the tool of accumulation and therefore growth will continue. Ether is simply not available to the nearest competitors at the moment, so it can not be replaced
If you are willing to go for holding of the coins for some good period and that you are ready to make an investment, then it is better to invest your money at a place which can then help you in making of more amount of money so that you can then enjoy the perks of that holding of the coin. I will go for holding of the bitcoin as it will help me in making of more money as compared to that of holding of ETH. |

the bitcoin is the best
since we see at end of 2017 ...it go to 19000$ at about 10 day
so i think no any alcoin can do same btc for long term

I think both of these coins are suitable for investment and as a buy, both are good coins that are currently on the rise, NRO I all the same for a new generation but for the Ethereum.
I would love to have both of them for long term business. I am a long term investor and I know the game of psychology in the crypto market after you invest in the technology you desires to invest in. Hold is the game in the current market conditions. If you hold both ETH and Bitcoin no mater how much you hold, you are definitely going to earn some handsome money upon cashing. |

They are both good for long term investment. These two are among the best to invest in cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency while on the other hand, the ethereum is the king of token. SO don't be confuse whether whoich one is best to invest for long term.

If for long-term bitcoin is certainly better than eth, although both are the parent of cryptocurrency, but bitcoin is still the number one. Because of rising prices all alcoin still follow bitcoin. If bitcoin rises, alcoin just follow it, and vice versa. While eth itself still follow the bitcoin trend.

if you are looking for long term investment go invest for BTC, and for short term go for ETH. In the long run BTC can double it's price so it is good for long term investment.

I think now is the right time to buy either or both of coin as their prices are low and when you hold on long term, by the time to decide to sell it, you profit would have multiplied as they have the potential to yield profit and are more stable than other coin in crypto.

The first thing to do is not make your long-term investing decisions based in the price action for the last few days or weeks. This two are really good investment for a long-term hold. Both of them are useful for investors who are really into technology. I think you must splitting the amount and invest in both the coins it make huge in two years later. This is the best time to buy in both the coins because already we are all miss the dip so it will never get back to 6k USD so you should invest know otherwise you miss the right opportunity.

Both BTC or ETH are good for you to invest. As long as you buy and sell at the right time, every dollar brings you big profits. ETH is much lower than bitcoin. There are many people who invest in ETH because it is less risky than bitcoin.
Bitcoin is better thanEthereum, I think so. I admire Ethereum a lot but that does not mean to not speak the truth. Ethereum returns profit but if we compare it with the ones earned by holding bitcoin, it looks like a new born baby. Due to the most volatile nature that bitcoin holds, it is best at yielding profit over small duration of time. Ethereum has not produced millionaire like bitcoin has. Better or not is depending people how they see this conversen. Bitcoin is off course better than etherium of we talk about price. But in other side, i prefer etherium as my asset in portofolio. Why? Because etherium has also big chance to grow while the price also no so high. |

if I think both are great for long-term investments, if we want to buy right now I think the time is right, because both of them are now experiencing a price drop very far from the highest price level, so this is our chance to buy and save it, and sell when the price will rise even higher. |

in contrast, i dont think Bitcoin will bring us less profit in long term, we should remember BTC is more popular than any other altcoins, so it is highly evaluated and is pumped to rise more powerful every year, moreover, ETH's price depends too much on BTC, so whenever happens to btc, surely ETH will volitate rapidly, so i think it would be better if we hold BTC for long term. |
