But remember that everything that is said here has an impact. We are running a multi-million dollar business here. A lot of people seem to forget this and post stuff like they are on a hobby project between friends. Great if you look at it like this, but the harsh reality is that it's no child play anymore.

Those that have typed suggestions in this thread for my web client and that haven't yet been implemented, please send them again, this time via PM. I lost track of a few!

Please note that I goofed in my original post about the multipool.  The ports are 3008 for the vardiff, 3032 for the fixed 32-difficulty shares and 3256 for the fixed 256 difficulty shares.
that is:

@wesley..

you know in trade history on an asset page.. can you show whether they are buy/sells like on bter?

Impossible, the api does not provide that information. Trade history is completed trades anyway, so it's a buy and sell.

@ wesley. you kow after copying id no under nxt logo.. can you make the box close automatically after clicking? would be more fluid then having to click elsewhere to get it to go away?

This already happens automatically. Not for you? Which browser, version and OS?

Guys, imagine many many assets for BTC on the Asset Exchange. And one of them is the asset of James' gateway.

What could we do to make it easier for average Joe to choose the right and trusted one and ignore the shitty scam assets?

have a site where verified companies advertise and people "request a code" by entering there nxt address in a box for the company/asset they are intersted in buying  and they get a message on the client from the real seller of the asset with a link to the real asset!

perhaps on the new block explorer that gives stats! just have a green tick or something for a verified companies

Other less centralized ideas?

Pandaisftw posted some ideas a while back - which are here

https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1FsyumJLmQ9ckLNkHlmW1oPRGOoK3oAg_pVjFz3s0fNw/edit#slide=id.g1ce2334a0_00

I don't know if anyone has picked them up - would need to be implemented client-side...

If memory serves, CIYAM commented positively on pandaisftw's recommendations (or was it Wesleyh?)

Speaking selfishly, these or similar features would benefit Nxtopia greatly. Cheesy

Nice!!For someone like me who has no idea of mining.
How much Nxt can this generate per day every 24h, depending on number of users?

Thanks! This will save me from several contortions I am going through to buy NXT. I'm on now with about 8GHz SHA-256 and will move the rest of my 30GHz over once it finishes what it is doing.

This is proof that this thread is deteriorating...He makes one of the most important request on par with AE announcements and everyone keeps on bickering about nothing...you care about price? this is one of the answers..this could be one of the most profitable stocks for its backers if there is a business model.

@CFB can you be more specific has no one has done this before, it doesn't follow the conventional legacy IPO process...issuing assets is pretty straight forward..Did you mean management of a thread about the IPO that describes the offering, roadmap, marketing, business model, and all the basic business stuff that will attract buyers? Surely someone will take this task

I want to clarify the lines in between the text so people understand the significance...XCP counterparty is a barely funded development effort compared to what we have, but they understand the significance of individual businesses launching on the blockchain. It will bring immense value to the currency itself through indirect marketing by the businesses who attract customers and influence them to get shares using the applicable currency. Adam from lets talk bitcoin and several other business owners are launching live on the counterparty blockchain when the "counterwallet" web wallet goes live in days...you can imagine the kind of organic publicity will be generated from these ipo'ers

Also from my humble point of view.. the biggest job of the marketing team right now is to realize this marketing strategy: Approach as many profit generating businesses/ miners who have been displaced from the centralized stock sites like "bitfunder" these business will do your marketing for you. Its a win win situation, they get added benefit of dividend automation and bring a lot more exposure to nxt...Somehow this simple strategy is missed, counterparty has it right hand they have 6-7 IPOS ready to go...

I thinks its important to stay on the initial goals of what this whole nxt initiative was about, it is why so many people believed in NXT,.. From what I see there is a whole lot of disruption potentially causing deviation in plans, I don't know if its effective in the project development or not, but its pretty evident in the vibe of the community. Maybe its an accident maybe its not but this is a pretty interesting article if you have the time: https://firstlook.org/theintercept/2014/02/24/jtrig-manipulation/.  For all the hard workers staying focus through the FUD thank you for your effort. Just something to think about..stay positive and help out anyway you can, Understand that there is a process to everything and the most important features have to be built or designed now that we still have CFB

I been distracted also, but now I am back to work

It is unfortunate, but I think there is a bug in your pool, 13777396447329100000 is probably my account 13777396447329170446, but you sent the nxt to 13777396447329100000. I think your program have truncated the address. So the nxt you  sent are now darknxt (i.e. nxt that cannot be recover unless the 64bits key is found in the long futur).

<spam>

I'm looking for someone who is skilled enough to prepare IPO of a Nxt related* project. The project will be IPOed on Nxt Asset Exchange. The shares will be traded on AE, dividends will be paid as described by BCNext in his example about Krusty Krabs.
PM me plz.

---
* - it's related to Digital Goods Store.

Not actual anymore

Got it

Some people don't react because they are involved in other IPO's and can't use more that 24 hours in a day Wink

Granted, you see a lot of negativity, but good things are being done, but just aren't all that visible for a variety of reasons right now Smiley

UI is not yet optimized for mobile. You can forge with a mobile phone, but your password will be sent to the server. No way around that.

But remember that everything that is said here has an impact. We are running a multi-million dollar business here. A lot of people seem to forget this and post stuff like they are on a hobby project between friends. Great if you look at it like this, but the harsh reality is that it's no child play anymore.

Another way to look at this is that most software projects, including the other crypto projects are worked on behind closed doors and no one ever gets to see the "sausage being made" so to speak. I can guarantee you that similar hurt feelings, misunderstandings, politics, fud throwing, etc goes on with those projects as well, it's just that you usually don't get the chance to see it so up close and intimately as you do in this thread.

Personally I think it's great that all this development in happening transparently right out in the open for anyone to see (though there's more hard work behind the scenes we don't see I'm sure). It's not always pretty and I've even been a part of the ugliness at times too, but for the most part everyone is focused on the same goal. I think we'll get there and all the people who are panic selling are just providing the rest of us with a great opportunity to pick some  NXT up on the cheap.

Whenever I start to lose faith I just go play with Wesleyh's client. Makes me a believer all over again.

Chins up people!

welcome on my ignore list, congratz you are in company of emule there.

wow, quite a reaction there, must have really hit a nerve, and now you are calling him a thief, just like emule has, after admitting to dumping, after emule has

Well, I would be angry if someone accused me of being emule, although I wouldn't use that language.  Not sure why Pin is being attacked here, did I miss something?
