ok. So I get it back to work. After a few hours of struggle today.

Not the best as I see right now with hashrate. I had to take out one board to make it work. I will try that board on multiple slots to see if its a faulty board or what the issue is.

1. Do your boards run very hot when on high clock? I even smell burning smell when I run on high for 10 mins.
2. Can I mine alt currencies with this cube? anyone know how to? please guide.

When I power my cube up the fan doesn't run and the green sb pwr led is on and for some reason I can't talk to the cube. Running solo off a 1000w Cool Master. Any suggestions?

When you apply power, do you hear a click a few seconds later? If you don't there's something wrong with the main power relay or its drive circuit. I had one where the relay coil's freewheel diode failed open, and the next time it turned off it arced the coil and shorted most of the turns; still got enough field to click over the relay but pushed 800mA through the 50mA coil drive transistor and smoked it. That didn't keep the fan from turning on though. Hm...

Did you make sure the fan was plugged in? When both of mine arrived the fan leads were stretched and poorly socketed. It could be the fan is disconnected and these need a solid tach signal from the fan to fully initialize. Could be the fan is unplugged, could be the fan is dead; I'd bet socketing or replacing the fan will do you quite a bit of good. While you have it apart, go ahead and check all the heatsink screws for tight.

You can mine any sha256 coin.  Setup is no different.  Just configure for whatever pool/coin you want to mine just like BTC.

After changing my routers subnet to 192.168.1.*, I was able to get to the config page right away at 192.168.1.254:8000
The only thing I can see here is your connection to the router (make sure your ethernet cable is properly connected to the router), and that yoou change the routers subnet.
Else, your cube is faulty? not sure. Some experts here may be able to help.

If you are like me, then your router's IP could be set at 192.168.1.254 so you will have to change that in order to get the Cube configured.

Here was my solution for my UVerse router.

After some googling and searching this thread I could not find the answer to this. I am curious just for future reference.

What is the procedure for the factory reset? For example, do you simple push the button briefly or do you hold the button down for a few seconds.

Another question, again out of sheer curiosity, how much would you guys estimate these cubes weigh? I do not have an accurate enough scale.

//edit: added second question on weight.

I have a quick question that hopefully somebody can answer and if it's already been covered then I apologize for not seeing it.
I have 2 cube's and 2 Klondike K16's connected to my Antec TPQ-1200 (12v1 38a, 12v2 38a, 12v3 38a, up to 12v6 38a).
I have cube #1 connected to the stratum proxy on my mining rig while cube #2 is connected to the stratum proxy running on my laptop.
When I had both cubes connected to the stratum proxy on my mining rig, cube #2 wouldn't get above 30Gh/s even on High so I thought maybe there was too much network chatter having them both on the same proxy.
I put the proxy on my laptop and connected cube #2 to that and now I'm getting between 33-34Gh/s on High.

Below is stats for Cube #2

Quote
ASIC_01-16: O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O
ASIC_17-32: O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O
ASIC_33-48: O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O
ASIC_49-64: O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O
ASIC_65-80: O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O
ASIC_81-96: O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O

MHS:33351 Utility:456 Efficieny:083.26%

As you can see I'm only getting 83.26% efficiency.
I have a box fan pointing at all my devices bringing in the cold outside air so temps aren't an issue (my K16's are in the 43-47c range).

Any ideas what I could do to get my hashrate up to the 37-38Gh/s range?

Thanks for the guide, however it seems I'm stuck at the first hurdle ... the cube is all up and running fine, connected to my PSU and the Ethernet is connected into BT homehub Ethernet port 2, but when I try to navigate to the 192.168.1.65:8000 I just says "problem loading page". I've double checked in my network settings and the way to get into my Homehubs settings is with 192.168.1.254 and it says that my IP address is 192.168.1.65 in my network connections, neither of these work with the :8000 ending in my browser, any advise?

You will need to change your router setting from 192.168.1.254 to something else so that you can access the Cube at 192.168.1.254:8000

Ta im in now, can see the cube config settings. Annoyingly I've had to use my desktops PSU to power it and im having to use a old laptop as my mining software, ...was going to work out how to link this to my multipool account but I'm not sure if that will be as easy, just set up an account at slush's pool for now to make this easier.

I've downloaded the stratum file and have entered my slush pool username and password into the cubes config. The main thing I'm not sure about is the pool port numbers, which I have changed to 3333 but also tried the 8330. Stuck again.

Pics:

I have created a .bat file in notepad to try to connect to my multipool account, but that crashes the miner on launch:

Code:
cd C:\users\xxxxx\downloads\Proxy mining_proxy.exe -o stratum+tcp://pool1.eu.multipool.us:8888

-u sytherz.1 -p x

Try this to run your proxy batch, take out everything else:

mining_proxy.exe -o stratum+tcp://pool1.eu.multipool.us -p 8888 -gp 8330

Change cube settings to:

Gateway = Router IP
Primary DNS = Router IP
Pool ports = 8330,8330
Pool address = your laptop IP that is running the mining proxy

Your Gateway IP is blank and your Primary DNS is matching your Pool IP, so try this...

open up command prompt, type in "cd\windows\system32" and then press enter.  Now type in "ipconfig" and press enter.

On the screen you should see "IPv4 Address" and "Default Gateway"

IPv4 Address is the IP address of the laptop you are running the proxy on and should be the same as "Pool IP"

Default Gateway is the IP address of the router you are using and it should be the same as "Primary DNS" and "Gateway"

Hmm, stumped now. Maybe I should try a different pool? I know the password for multipool is not used, they generally say either leave blank or set to x, and I've tried it with both in the cube settings: sytherz.1:x,sytherz.1:x and also leaving the x out sytherz.1:,sytherz.1:
