My cube randomly stops every 24 hours or so.....when I look at it it has a solid red led light and the configuration page says xxxxxx for all of the chips. What could be the issue? is it the fan rpm? I have 2 fans running right now. When I restart the cube manually it seems to go again after a few restarts.....
Thanks!

My one cube also just drops off, Green power light stays on, but no network connection or activity untill i reset the power to it.
Any thoughts, suggestions?

Does there seem to be any pattern? Is it regular or random? Sounds like an IP problem to me, it won't get assigned a fresh (aka good one) until its restarted.

Seems totally Random...
I have static IP's on the deivces, even segmented them on to a seperate network to ensure there are no android devices on the same network.
Has there ever been a firmware update released for the cubes?

Maybe internally, but no.

That doesnt matter. The problem is you are connecting to the proxy on a weird port, just use the default basic code for now. cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Proxy mining_proxy.exe -o eu-stratum.btcguild.com -p 3333

Check firewall and port based stuff now, the cube is connecting to the proxy fine and the proxy to the pool fine.

Drizzik: Can you please post a larger screenshot (maybe break that up into three?), the text is coming out too small to see.

Hope this helps....
I don't see the BTC Guild worker name set in the "mining_proxy.exe" command. It is set in the Cube but that doesn't pass through (AFAIK). Set the worker & password on the "mining_proxy.exe" command. Perhaps: mining_proxy.exe -o eu-stratum.btcguild.com -p 3333 -cu WorkerName -cp PasswordIfNeeded Someone who knows about mining_proxy.exe, BTC Guild please review if this is necessary. Wrong and wrong, its fine as it is. Some firewall is blocking traffic.

Would completely re-installing windows help? Would a W88 on a Trident clean out a family of raccoons? Yes. The answer is yes. But it's overkill. Now, take my little parable and go upon the earth and apply it. 8^]

Would completely re-installing windows help? Drizzik, what version of Windows are you using? There are a number of ways to look and see if the Windows firewall is blocking something. Or your router, et cetera.

I'm going slightly nuts here, and would appreciate some additional assistance.
I'm running 3 cubes - 3rd one arrived about a week ago. 2 of them usually run at 38 (high clock) and one of them runs at 30 (low clock) because I don't like how the power leads heat up on that power supply, and I haven't bought a new one yet.
Last Thursday, I was showing 100GH/s at my pool - less than I expected, but reasonable.
Since then, I'm seeing what I consider to be really odd behavior in my proxy(ies). Specifically, they will run with the usual scrolling display for 10 - 15 seconds, and then stop. About 45 seconds later they'll start scrolling again.
I've tried Linux (Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and 12.04 LTS) on virtual machines on 2 different hosts. I've actually lost count of how many iterations of linux machines I've tried. I've tried Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8 on three different machines - all of which have had the cubes running at 38-39 GH/s each in the past. I've tried multi-homing the Linux virtual machines - one interface "outside" on the public internet, and the second interface "inside" for the cubes to connect to so as to bypass any congestion that my firewall might be adding.
I've been wanting to blame my ISP (Comcast business - no love lost there), so tonight I built an Ubuntu 12.04 LTS machine on an Amazon EC2 cloud instance, and it is doing the very same thing - running for 10 -15 seconds, and then pausing. Here's the strange part - the proxy running on the local machine and the proxy running on the EC2 pause and restart at exactly the same time.
Say what!!!???!!!
So I'm officially stumped.
Tonight I'm down to about 13GH/s on the two "faster" cubes, and and about 12 on the slower one. That's (almost?) not worth feeding electricity to.
I would be immensely appreciative of someone who has some experience with multiple cubes helping me to walk back through this. I can't believe that it's connectivity issues with the pool - I'd be hearing about it in the forums, right?
Actually - let's explore that for a moment - anyone else here running multiple cubes through Comcast that can say "yea" or "nay" to connectivity issues to Slush?
Thanks in advance;

0) Take all android phones off wifi and observe 1) Try different pools 2) Take third cube off and observe 3) If so, try reversing the 3rd cube's position with a working cube and observe
That'll keep you going.
