Full blocks have already started since block 240 awarding 280MMC.

I gave up solo mining as well.  I'll just make do with the small amount I get with my PTS.

Fixing the difficulty adjustment algo won't change the scarcity - it will make the difficulty adjustments more linear instead of hopping around so wildly. There's currently simply too few data points being used for the calculation, which skews the average badly. With more data points to calculate from, the curve will be much smoother and predictable. It won't (shouldn't) change the number of blocks per hour.

Are there any other coins that handle this well? I see Freicoin has an advanced diff adjustment - maybe too complex.

Look to PPCoin.

Soon people will realize that coins that honor Protoshares have huge amount of resources behind them from day one.

Totally agree. This coin is designed so that it's not a run of the mill coin that get's released every other day. There's some substance here and it's got financial interest/backing and originality. Does it need some adjustments, perhaps. I'm just sick of Joe Blow Miner 942 that jumps in and tries calling it a fail because he can't mine 2 million coins a day... Go back to Doge coin if you want something like that. This coin was not designed as a joke or a novelty but to actually add something real to the alt coin world.

People are too used to direct clones of other coins where the developer is just changing the name and graphics. Not original coins with their own new algorithms, ect.

Block reward of 616.00 MMC? Is this a serious bug? Embarrassed

Block #380
http://www.chainbrowser.com/memorycoin/block/0000b7f077c2689dd9107cf31f20e31ff682d07dfb150e7ee387331f51c84545/

Transactions in the block says mined block reward of total: 1232.00040000 MMC, which breaks the rule I think.

Is this a problem?

If you look carefully, the mined block reward is still 280MMC, 56MMC each is awarded to the voted ceo, cto, cso, cha, cmo, cno for "services" rendered to memorycoin.

So after being told that the full block rewards would be 48 hours after launch am I right in thinking that they were actually switched on at an arbitrary time yesterday, contrary to that promise?
