The last update with any substantive content was well over twelve hours ago.
Since then, we've had a video of Micon in a room that looks like a reject from a Hoarders episode where he made some weird joke about a cantenna, and then nothing. Seriously, Micon, you're raising a child in that environment? And all we get to look at is some shit-for-brains ClownFlare screen. Fuck you and your 522 error.
Step your game up, bitch!
We need to get that man a new robe. He is losing any credibility with that grungy rag. We need to get a donation together and purchase Micon an executive seals robe with seals with club emblem. If he had a nice robe on those you tube videos there would be an influx of players. You guys are all haters, his videos are great and very "real". They are just casual, he isn't trying to impress anyone, this obviously isn't a huge business and for you to think that is just stupid. Lolz haterz you can't even sniff out a joke I can't wait till the site goes back up and takes your last chip you peebrain. Get the fuck out of this thread let the grownups talk and eat a bowl of dicks! You too, have a sense of humor. You stupid Fuckwad!!! I couldn't give a fuck if micon did his you tube broadcasts in 2 week old unwashed boxers. You are retarding up this thread.

At least lobby chat is still online, in this topic On serious note: if they are actually developing something against the DDoS attacks then I guess it can take a while (like now.) Then again, as a webdeveloper, I would think they "just" need a good hosting/DDoS protection service for it (I am not expert on server-level tho.) Even backup server with only a simple HTML file for a message on the website "We are working on it. Updates. blabla" would be good I think. Should be very simple and possible, yet ensuring the customers that it will be ok. Indeed. But I really would hope they are creating a good method them self for this attack or at least using a higher level up company vs CloudFlare. CloudFlare is useful for baby attacks and other stuff, but it seems they are being hit very hard.

My seals deposit address(wallet) is now showing two withdrawals to an address I am not aware of. One from yesterday, and one from this morning. They are part of a very big transaction from multiple addresses all going into one. Let's wait for this explanation...

Well if the wallets are protected, why are they moving money around?

The DDoS attack has no effect on your wallets unless he has some extremely idiotic methods for storing players BTC -- which I highly doubt since SWC does not offer any type of instant withdrawals or instant automated anything. The attacker is simply throwing too much traffic at his provider. You can only dedicate so much time/money/resources for these types of attacks depending on how big of a business you have. Google is a cyber God and is untouchable with the endless amount of resources they very literally can access.

CloudFlare is useful for baby attacks and other stuff, but it seems they are being hit very hard. Per definition CloudFlare is very good against DDoS attacks, IMO. They have migrated very big attacks ( http://blog.cloudflare.com/the-ddos-that-almost-broke-the-internet ) It's just that I think Seals doesn't really use them for DDoS protection. The IP server of the Seals poker server is open in public used in the clients, so no need to DDoS cloudflare, they would just DDoS the Seals server directly. If they would 100% use CloudFlare's 200$ a month extra DDoS protection, I think that would help. Then again, I am not expert on server level :p I just use the Free cloudflare service for simple first level protection against spam bots and caching images on my sites :p (these sites do not really need DDoS protection anyway)

The definition of big and baby vary, but many people agree that CloudFlare is shit when it comes to real DDoS attacks.

Mm ok, but they did manage to protect SpamHaus against that 100-300Gbps DDoS attack ? Perhaps they are not good against the "average DDoS attack", if there is something like that :p
Anyway, what I especially meant, is that I think that Seals doesn't really use them since their IP is open in public.
edit: actually I think CloudFlare is even just focused on HTTP(S) traffic, so wouldn't be used for pokerserver traffic anyway.

The no updates, and the moving of my btc in my account is what's worrying me. They haven't transferred any of my btc out of my wallet without my personal request since I started playing here. Why now?

I don't really know how their depo/withdrawal system works. But I assume that your deposit address is not actually your balance on Seals. I assume they move the bitcoins from most deposit addresses to their "protected cold wallets" from time to time. I assume that the transaction you are seeing is a transaction to one of their cold wallets. And I assume that you have nothing to worry about

I had nothing to worry about yesterday morning. This is turning serious. What if they can never get it under control? What happens then? What if they can't afford professional help, and they have no other option but to abandon the site? None of these questions have been answered. An update of "we are fighting the attack still" is not good enough for me.

There are people claiming responsibility for the DDoS attack, yet Seals does not respond to them. I just don't understand any of this

The only people who respond to a DDoS attacker is the FED, it is pointless for anyone else to respond. Giving the attacker attention is a no no.

1) it's pointless to engage a guy saying they are attacking because: 1a) we should have technology to auto-fight it off anyway, or they'll just keep doing it and 1b) the guy could be lying, so now you are just engaging a troll so negotiating with terrorists or pseudo-terrorists is clearly off the table, the only real solution is: 2) develop technology to fix that shit ASAP at all costs we are executing #2 at this time. it's taking a lot longer than we expected. no ETA, but note we are going HAM on it until it's fixed.
