any kind of first deposit bonus or some affiliates who give out a bonus?
have played large volume on pstars and ftp before black friday and am looking
to get it going again
Thing is, everyone can create a new account in seconds even without an e-mail address. So there isn't really anything free for new players (unless you get really lucky and an affiliate trusts you to give u some chips to start with.)

There are still two free things available to new players.  The big one is the DonkDown freeroll on Wednesdays at 10:30 PM EST.  Another is there are these 66 player sit-and-go-freerolls that go off from time to time and can be found under the SNG tab.  There's also a "free" subtab under the SNG tab that will have it, usually by itself, if it's around.

The 66-er generally only goes off at times of low traffic, so you have to snipe for it a bit.
Yeh, I meant free specifically for new players. Anyone can join these freerolls.

Lol .Most tournaments are over within 2 hours on Seals.

No bullshit - I am not there yet, but headed in the right direction with MTT schedule?
My post was comment on post above, where player "notserp" said that he would tolerate
10 min late reg.,and  not hours. It was not meant as a criticism.
The answer on your question is, yes there are improvements .

The single biggest element to expanding MTTs is late registration imo. I know that it's not entirely SWC's fault, but it boggles me that there's major poker software that doesn't have a feature that has been possible on every poker site I've ever played for over a decade.
I actually love this feature.  You know, when the tourney starts, if its an overlay, how many people in it, exact payouts, etc.  I wish more sites would have this.
To echo others, it's extremely frustrating to sit down for a session and see one tournament that I'm actually interested in playing...but I missed registration by one minute. It also ends up keeping prize pools down and keeps them from upping the guarantees. Also, I'd be fine with the suggested 10-15min registration, though I'm not opposed to an hour. I also agree with the sentiment that WPN's 4 hour window is crazy/terrible.

Been busy recently so haven't posted anything about my account lock out.

I exchanged a few messages with freemoney and micon who said they would help me out. Freemoney first seemed to keen to help but once I explained the situation in detail I haven't heard anything back since.

Micon said there was nothing wrong with my account yet I can't log in. Freemoney said I have been able to log in since so maybe I am typing my password in wrong. I had the password stored correctly in three places, I have tried to re-type, copy and paste a maddening amount of times but it doesn't help.

I can tell you what happens when I try to log in. I get an account locked message and get asked to retype my password. This is where it ends. I re-type the details and it loops back to the home screen saying bad login error.

I had already sent two emails and was told to send another email to support by Micon. I have now sent three emails in total explaining the situation in detail.

I created another email address to send the third as I thought there may be a problem with my email account as freemoney said they hadn't received any of my emails.

I have been waiting since the ddos firstly to play and since then to withdraw my hard earned coins. My case doesn't seem to be isolated. I would be very careful using their site.

Just feel like I have been palmed off completely and had my coins stolen. I have been extremely patient and not made direct accusations but what else can this be called now?

Very disappointed seals. After several weeks of waiting, effort and time spent on my part I have had no explanation as to why I have been locked out. Not cool at all.

As to the subject of late registration...  how does seals stop multiaccounters from turning every tourney with a late reg into a rebuy tournament?

This would be especially applicable if the late reg period is long like an hour.

they should have a late reg period but it should never even come close to being an hour long with the way the tourneys are currently structured.  Ending it after the first 3 or 4 levels seems appropriate.

But really late reg isnt that big of an issue, the structures are.  Starting stacks need to be 3000 chips unless the tourney is a rebuy.  Rebuy tourneys need add-ons.  Tournaments need longer blind levels for non turbos, at least 10 minutes long and numerous levels need to be added.  A non-turbo tournament shouldnt take 60-80 minutes to complete as they often do on the site.  These all seem like easy implementations to make, not sure why they havent occurred yet.  Just look at Pokerstars or Full Tilt, they have been successful for a reason.  Why would you not attempt to mirror their schedules/ structures to some degree?

Interesting thought cAPSLOCK.  I can see dishonest players busting a juicy MTT then jumping on another account to late register.  This will certainly have to be monitored, and accounts become very well connected to each other over time for a number of reasons so while ST6 will need to improve the collusion detection for this new factor, i don't see it being too hard to police.

I think the general consensus for a site like SwC is to have a short period of late reg.  IMO 10 minutes or 2 levels is about the minimum, with about 30 minutes as the max.   From a player standpoint I agree the industry has gotten out of hand with late reg.  Day 2 $10k late reg's and online 2 hour windows seem a bit too long for my liking.

We are likely still a few months from new stuff / new features.  Q1 2014 is not likely to be hit.  I would now consider Q2 2014 the current target.

The longer before late registration, the better.  "Never" would be my preferred time frame.

It's a bug, not a feature.
