I'm making a post here because I'm trying to get my 2factor reset on a wallet.
I just wanted another form of ID to help verify myself with this process.

I'm RandomQ and I approve this message.

Do you know about openstreetmap, right?

Some links if you go to implement directory listing map of places that accept Bitcoin.
1- http://switch2osm.org/why-switch/
2- http://switch2osm.org/the-basics/
3- http://www.bewelcome.org/wiki/Switch_to_OSM

As I said before, the best case I saw of a map using leaflet api with osm, and more and less how I would like to see the directory listing on blockchain.info: http://alpha.bewelcome.org/searchmembers

Feature requests
  • add more(all) currencies to your "request payment" window
  • Make the request payment window sendable including the given amount (now, sharing on facebook only shares the address, not the payment request)
  • add formulas to your request payment window
  • (add live update based on changing exchange rates to your "request payment" window)

The point is, this would turn blockchain.info in a universial tool to accept payments to any wallet. A friend wants to sell me 15.000 CLP? I would use blockchain.info as a one stop solution by typing in 15.000CLP * 0.95 together with his receiving address. If he confirms, I do the payment. A merchant could use the service as well.

Right now when I do an exchange, I check the Bitcoin price in USD and use Google. I wouldn't mind if your service would draw its exchange rates from google, too.

What happened to frugal mode?  Until a while ago, I could send transactions with e.g. merely 0.0001 fee
when I didn't care about timely confirmations.  Now, despite still having frugal in the settings its not possible
to make a low-priority tx.

Google Chrome is showing "https" in red with a slash through it, meaning something on the site is not secure. Perhaps this error from the console is related?

so sounds like you just need to add VIBRATE to the manifest...

Good catch, thanks.

FYI - this VIBRATE issue appears to be fixed in 4.2.1 - no longer crashes when I get a payment.

I'd swear I had used the Blockchain.info iOS client before to send money from a watch-only address.  ISTR it prompted you to scan the private-key QR code before it would continue.  Now, though, it just throws up this error:

"Cannot ask for private key without user interaction disabled"

Am I doing something wrong, or am I imagining something that has never been supported?  The website prompts for the private key, and on my computer, it even fires up a Flash-based QR-code reader (which obviously wouldn't work on an iPhone, but I can copy-and-paste from a reader app). I moved all of my coin to a paper wallet and would like to be prompted for the private key when I want to spend something (it's printed on a business-card-sized slip of paper in my wallet).

On the various charts pages, can you please BOLD which time-scale the graph is currently displaying? I often load a graph and make a judgement before going down to that floating footer and clicking a time-scale, and I'm often surprised that I wasn't in the view I was expecting. Because the dates on the graph are always generated at runtime and don't include the full year, I don't parse them as easily as a bolded "All Time" or "30 Days"

Cheers,
John

P.S. Same goes for the log-scale and averages options in the bottom-right

How can My Wallet be made more auditable?

I imagine this has been discussed to death in this monster thread ... can someone tl;dr it on the new thread I opened?

FYI, I do not follow this monster thread, it's too big.

Please do not pm me, use ron@bitcoin.org.il instead

This transaction was sent via blockchain wallet and seems to have been poorly broadcast.

http://blockchain.info/tx/ed8d5df4272aaaff31847a2e50f408ba9759b7c5c1a075020377180a4a9a20f5

Does that happen sometimes? Will it automatically be re-broadcast at some point?
