When I ask on Wallet page to e-mail me backup of my wallet, the page says "Email sent", but I've never received it. Tried over last 2 months. E-mail is set, was verified and was receiving backups some months ago. What's the problem?

Can anyone tell me how to delete "watching only" addresses from my wallet? I archived them, but my cursor turns into a "you can't do that" symbol whenever I mouse over the check box next to the addresses in the "archive" section of the wallet.
Thanks.

first, wait for any pending backups to S3 to complete (since they interrupt the process), then click the tick box above all the other tick boxes - this enables the rest of the tick boxes, then click the tick box next to your key - then scroll all the way down and you get to delete your address Will

Now all my transactions are failing. I think something is pretty fucked up with blockchain's wallet atm. I've lost 0.2 btc from this, I really dont know what's up. If it's a problem with Blockchain.info, I'll be pissed at them. Whereas if it's a problem with the actual blockchain, I havent seen any reports of weird happenings, so I dont know what's up.

I just updated to the latest Android app. Transaction fees are still defaulting to 0.005 BTC, which is really steep these days. I looked around and can't find a way to decrease this. Any ideas?
Thanks again for the great service!

Sounds like either the developer made a decimal place error, or they thought that mobile users needed fast confirmations, which a big fee will do - you don't want to wait for hours in some sketchy place if selling bitcoins.

Trying to backup my wallet but getting the following error:
"Got error 157 'Unknown error code' from NDBCLUSTER"
Any ideas, piuk? Others are reporting not being able to access their wallets at all.

Stats for electricity usage may need to be updated http://blockchain.info/statsElectricity consumption is estimated based on power consumption of 650 Watts per gigahash http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-04-12/virtual-bitcoin-mining-is-a-real-world-environmental-disaster.htmlBlockchain.info, a site that tracks data on Bitcoin mining, estimates that in just the last 24 hours, miners used about $147,000 of electricity just to run their hardware, assuming an average price of 15 cents per kilowatt hour (a little higher than the U.S. average, lower than some high cost areas like California). Not a miner, so no expert but probably need to consider FPGAs and ASICs now. 650 W/Ghash is probably from GPUs FPGAs maybe 50 W/Ghash ASICs maybe 10 W/Ghash from my rough estimations looking at some numbers I've seen but open to correction. No idea what the relative % of the hashing power each type of mining makes up.

Yeah exactly. I've implemented kinda sorta offline mode now you can generate a transaction offline after you have gotten the unspent outputs from the server. So at the point at which you need to enter the private key you can go offline. You'll see something like this. A general use case: You have a 'current' account where you keep a limited amount of coins to do whatever it is you do with bitcoins. Then a 'savings' account which you keep the majority of you holdings. For the current account you keep both the bitcoin address and private key in the wallet, so you can send and receive transactions quickly. But with the savings account you keep only the bitcoin address and have a paper backup of the private key. So you can see the transactions and balances of both accounts but there is absolutely now way your savings account private key can leak. To move money from the savings account to the current account you would create an offline transaction, typing in the private key by hand. That way the private key touches only your browser for a few seconds and it not transmitted over the internet, even in encrypted form. Is the offline transaction disabled? For whatever reason it just won't work when I'm not connected to the Internet.

Blockchain.info services outrage is widespread. Nothing you can do, if you already have private keys you can import them to bitcoind.

Glad it's not just me.
I've been trying to use the API for my new application, and get the above error (in a malformed json-rpc response) more than 50% of the time. Looks like a plain mysql error being passed through.
I hope it will pass....
