This is the true first GPU coin. All hail Vertcoin I say Smiley

This X11 and X13 are plagued with FPGA's and Scrypt has lost its meaning with ASIC's...

> i don't have a billion dollar idea, but the market is leaving VTC alone.  Undecided

Firstly, the cryptsy bugs causing the main issue rather than the market. They should really try to get this sorted ASAP. Then everyone should move their trade away, as it is damaging one of the best coins around.

> While coins evolve VTC is silent and only accepting the natural force.

Do you mean pseudo-anonymity fads (re: darkcoin), SMS and other "PR" fads? Or perhaps myriadcoin's "multi-chain" feature? None of which mean diddly squat to the real world investor who has consumers and businesses in mind.

But the first on-blockchain stealth address system, which can provide suitable privacy while providing also transparency when needed for businesses. The most decentralised of any currency with regards to P2Pool advancements, as well as good coin distribution.

The only coin to have a full LIVE testnet that is not only tradeable, and mineable - but merge-mineable (you can't merge mine bitcoin testnet with anything) - aka Monocle.

This coin is what Litecoin should have been. And this is the early days yet.

So many innovations can be built on top of the existing structure by our communities, we don't need to look to the devs to help there.

They have created an amazing coin. Professional Feel. Stable. Serious. Reliable. ASIC Resistant. Decentralised.

On this basis, we can build all manner of services.

> many miner complain that vtc is not profitable to mine!

All coins go through that phase. Statistically, VTC has been I think one of the most profitable coins to mine ever, in its 5 month span, it is consistently at the top or near the top of the lists.

Oh, very cool news, I can't wait for MON new wallets to test it on main net. Nice news, probably we can recover from this fall. Also, I hope that MON will rise a bit, because current price even 5x is ridiculous. Damn pools.

It seems like a good time to buy vertcoin before the new stealth addresses pump the price up to the moon.

It should be interesting what MON's price does. But what is the issue here with pools?

Just wanted to pop in and explain our recent withdrawal issues at Cryptsy

Our wallet was taking over 60 seconds to return rpc calls. Upon investigating we found 175,000 inputs under 10 coins with over 9,999 confirmations.

In order to continue processing withdrawals the wallet needed to be rebuilt and cleared of most of those inputs. We started the script on monday morning and today it still had 65,000 left to merge.

We made the decision that 65,00 inputs of that size were manageable and decided to stop the script and put the wallet back in operation

We apologize for any delays it may have caused but the wallet should be much more functional and speedy now.

Thank you all for your patience

Can anyone explain the VTC volume units on Mintpal? I can't figure if like 1.0 = 1k shares? I tried doing the math and nothing seems to match up based on the order book and what the chart is displaying.

EDIT: NM -- It's BTC.
