Just wanted to pop in and explain our recent withdrawal issues at Cryptsy
Our wallet was taking over 60 seconds to return rpc calls. Upon investigating we found 175,000 inputs under 10 coins with over 9,999 confirmations.
In order to continue processing withdrawals the wallet needed to be rebuilt and cleared of most of those inputs. We started the script on monday morning and today it still had 65,000 left to merge.
We made the decision that 65,00 inputs of that size were manageable and decided to stop the script and put the wallet back in operation
We apologize for any delays it may have caused but the wallet should be much more functional and speedy now.
Thank you all for your patience
Is this caused by miners sending loads of dust payouts directly to their cryptsy accounts?

1) No your code doesn't magically fix confirmation bugs, you are too stupid to use electrum-vert. 2) Yes there are are enough good developers out there - they just aren't on execoin. You did absolutely nothing so far except copying code by others. 3) I am not even going to comment the sueing shit from you code stealing fags, feel free to sue me too for speaking out the truth. 4) Stop writing me PMs to clear this in private, we wont.
If it doesn't, you are welcome to submit bug report. But it does, and you are not going to do that anyway, because I bet you can't even describe curcumstances that introduces this bug. And as you said "bugs", you probably don't even undertand what I was talking about. Stop writing me PMs to clear this in private, we wont.
You said that yourself. You want to make a grand event from little, now wilingly fixed mistake. What is it if not black PR? Are you really so jealous because I've did it first? And that's how you roll. Rudeness and harshness to polite responses and no proofs of your accusations. Just so you know, that's doesn't make Vertcoin look cooler and vertcoin devs smarter. Really. Not to say this is totally not is the spirit of open source culture. If you don't want anyone to even see your code, why do you make it public in a first place? Also, you totally ignored post by execoin that your paper wallet is broken and you prodly put "Copyright by Vertcoin team" like you did everything yourself, but totally forgot about bitaddress.org. Or was this intentional? Quick to blame anyone else of your own sins? As for wallets. Let's compare https://paperwallet.vertcoin.org, http[Suspicious link removed]coin.net and https://www.bitaddress.org1. Vertcoin developers replaced copyrights of the original developers and (likely, but we are not 100% sure) replaced the donation address by their own. 2. Last tab -'Wallet details' - being used for conversion between key and address formats. Try Qt8yngFMGxpN5mYZ5S3HaorrcTGVTLAf34kVfAPBDJ1tfQyi29t6 on http[Suspicious link removed]coin.net (valid Execoin private key, corresponding address ETeXsJnN87MyPGEHaM1VH2wgk8z19PicVq) and WZbtDqm5aFX6yyXyKQbjMhqWQomt1iXevwyMxuRTCSKkADEtP756 on https://paperwallet.vertcoin.org (valid Vertcoin private key, corresponding address Vt1mjajspSTKDHQdWZHK9qN4e1VpYiKRXx). Vertcoin's converter does not work at all. Is it good idea to "copy pasta" this code? Not at all. We wouldn't like to say that Vertcoin developers are not good, in fact, they are excellent (probably, they were very busy with more important things while creating their paper wallet, those issues with the paper wallet are not so important - in fact, seems like nobody even noticed). This is just to point out that our commitment is to improve and innovate. Why provoke a war?I like both

VertCoin is dead. Too much inflation and devs aren't very active publicly. If you listened to me, you probably saved yourself this 70% drop from when I called it. Otherwise you are probably one ofthose who called me a FUD spreader and I'm glad you are holding my bags. Thanks

To the Dev Team:
First of all I would like to say great work on all of your implementations. We appreciate all the hard work and effort in the advances of this coin.
I wanted to ask you guys if you'd be interested in doing one or all of the following:
1) The reddit sub is getting a bit stale - we need some life injected into it. Is it possible for you to do a AMA in the near future. We can set up a post beforehand to add questions we'd like answered. We can hit different subs with a link to get some more involvement.
2) A while back there was talk about status updates. Something that could bring regular news to the masses. I was wondering if you'd be open to creating a dialog with someone who could ask the questions and transcribe the answers. That person could then write up a report and upon your approval could release it to all social outlets. I don't think its necessary or ideal for you to manage forums/subs but a more open dialog would increase awareness of the coin. I suggested someone else to do most of the grunt work creating these reports so that you could focus on life/vtc. My goal is to get as much information out as possible while consuming as little time of yours as possible.
I'm a member of the VTC forum, this forum and reddit, I follow in twitter and even with all of these resources at my disposal sometimes it's difficult to get all of the information. I know most people don't spend the same amount of time researching this coin. Especially new users. I feel creating a easy to understand open dialog is necessary to step up the VTC game.
3) I know you don't have a lot of direct control over the matter but perhaps you could help but the donations many of us have made to different initiatives have been very quite. We need to see results or reallocation of funds to help another project. We need to keep innovation at the forefront and I can speak from experience when I say that we need to see results from our donations.
4) If donations would allow one or a few of you to spend more time on the above initiatives we need to start driving dev donations. To you're credit you haven't asked for much at all but maybe you should. As a fellow developer I know how much work can go into planning, coding, testing, releasing and maintaining a project.
Again you guys are doing a great job - VTC has one of the best development teams around. The reason I support this coin as much as I do is because you guys plan for the end game. No gimmicks, panning to the masses, or trying to make a quick buck. This coin is poised for wide spread adoption. I understand that this means you're not as interested in the day to day price or volume trading as others as what it's doing today pales to what it will do. I feel we however need to do more in order to reach that end goal. We need more than just a great coin with amazing fundamentals. We also need a PR machine expanding our user base so others will come to know what we already know. VTC is here to stay and those who support it will be greatly rewarded in the future. Both as an early adopter which helped it succeed and financially.

the dev is playing russian roulette thats what is REAL!
When the miners leave the boat this coin WILL die! Hashrate and Diff is declining.
What the hell do they think they are, APPLE? Being silent and the masses are following them like sheeps?
Please wake up and be smart. I don't say this to disrespect their work, but i am tired of hearing those stupid excuses which seem to accusations rather than PR comments.
I sent them a good idea regarding PROMO work which can be done, but no reply.
Maybe i will sell with losses, but I WILL sell, before it goes to 0.
It is funny how Dark survived this huge PUMP, despite all those FUDs. But they are doing at least some work to keep the fire burning.
VTC is a great coin, but it seems like the DEV is a) a bunch of nerds or b) they are professionals in tricking us.
Miners are complaining about the bad energy efficiency and now the price drops to the ground (i call any price < 0.001 ground). But the dev is still quiet.
WELL DONE, NOT!

@Jiggy0001 - It can be hard sometimes but try to stay positive. We don't know what's going on in their lives and trying to be constructive works a lot better than calling out what you're unhappy about.
Price fluctuations can cause a bit of a headache - I know I had to quit mining for a while because of heat issues. I think a lot are in the same boat. I still purchase VTC but mining it is likely out until the fall. I currently have 5.5k VTC and each time a dip occurs I pick up some more to lower my buy in average.
Let's focus on improving, people complaining in public places does nothing for the confidence of a coin. Those that do may be inadvertently getting the opposite effect they're going for.

let´s be honest... Most of VTC holders are not bag holders in my opinion, because most of them just sold. so holding 5k+ VTC i also see it as an opportunity to rebuy at low prices. Nevertheless... YOU are mentioning an important point. YOU won't be mining until fall?!?!? Thats the burning house we are looking burning down to the ground. Miners are not idiots, they have to pay their bills and without them VTC will be "dust in the wind". Why the hell do other coins figure it out how to stay alive although they are shitcoins and professional coins like VTC are being treated so badly by their devs?
