I'd prefer the reduction of block size through a fork. Otherwise KDC will just become worthless.
NXT and MST are not mineable at the moment and there market cap is bigger then KDC, so your statement is crap!! The success of a coin is based on community and what dev can deliver. Got nothing to do with the number of coins etc, and also when you check coinwarz then people earning less $ by mining KDC then when mining other coins.. do you really want to lose miners? If believe you're pretty new in the business so you still have a lot to learn .... Nothing is being done for the community, from what I see. Features are slow to arrive. If my stake is being devalued by inflation every day , why hold when I'm reasonably sure I'll be able to buy back ( if it looks like updates or community begins to materialize) at a lower price? Lower the block reward, make the halving sooner, do something to counteract the massive supply on the market. There aren't enough buyers to support the coin's price.

ScryptGuild alpha, based on BTC Guild's custom stratum backend is currently mining KDC during its testing phases at 0% PPLNS. We're looking for more hash rate for KDC and also other scrypt-based cryptocurrencies. Join #scryptguild on freenode IRC to get access to the pool and collect some KDC with a pool run by one of the most experienced mining pool operators in the business.

Don't forget Chunky has a Klondikecoin pool at https://pool.chunky.ms/kdc/0% PROP SSL KDC is also frequently featured on our multiport, if you're into branching out and making whatever is most profitable. Check out our homepage at https://pool.chunky.ms for the latest multiport coin we are mining.

No reason to change anything... if every time something is moving down and dev need to change something then dev is stupid. They need to focus on their products and if products are good the price will adjust. For me seeing less coins etc would be much better, as the value of my current coins can double or even more, but then the big bag holders will start selling and you will have the same problem again. As when suddenly my 50K coins will be worth $25K then i press the sell button, and now i'm not selling anything and i'm buying. Give the market time, this is a young coin... again if every person that complain about block halvering just find some people on facebook/twitter to invest then there is no need to block halvering.

Not sure if you've been keeping up, but NO coin right now is doing any better than Klondike. In fact every coin is under stress right now, especially with what's going on with BTC as a whole. Klondike has been in the top 10 for profitability for the last month straight.
KDC price going down? It's gone down before. Several times. It's also gone up several times. It will do so several more times, just like every other coin out there.
Read what I said about Catcoin again. Tinkering with the block is only a bandaid. The only thing is will possibly serve to do is allow the major stakeholders get get a quick pump and get the hell out of dodge at a profit. Once they're out, we'll have a whole new set of bag holders bitching for yet a whole new quick fix.
Block fixes are NOT a long term solution, especially to an already stable coin like Klondike.
The dev shouldn't have to fix an already stable coin. If the community wants the coin to become more valuable - the COMMUNITY should do something about it. YOU all need to make the coin worth something instead of sitting there with your thumbs up your asses waiting for someone to give you a way to cash out for a profit.
*Disclaimer: I hold a stake in KDC, and I am a KDC pool operator. Would a "quick fix" benefit me? Yes. Obviously, I don't want to see that because it means a long term failure for the coin.
The above from Kheg bears repeating. Yeah, if we don't get an update on what's being done to fix this within a day, I'll be dumping all my coins. To those who reply with the catchall, thanks for the cheap coins, weak hands etc, good luck to you. You'll need it.

We really have some strange people around here... Network hashrate of 750Mh/s!!!! And talking about dying coin, need to adjust the coin structure and that because suddenly ALL altcoins went lower. Only a few days ago we were at 16000, WITH THE SAME structure!!!! Hashrate didn't drop from 5GH/s to 750Mh/s or so, no it was also 750Mh/s a few days ago. And what if next week we will hit 16000 again, will we fork the coin then back to delay the halvering. Either does people just want to make big profit by theirself and DUMP all their coins at a higher price and destroy the coin, or they don't have a clue how altcoins business is working. I hope it is point 2, else we are here with a lot of bad people that want to destroy this wonderful coin.

I'd prefer the reduction of block size through a fork. Otherwise KDC will just become worthless.
KDC is only as worthless as the community allows it to be, not what the block size gives you. The community needs to step up and give reasons to USE KDC in the wild to give it more value. Just mining it and converting it to BTC like just about everybody is doing now is what makes it useless/worthless. If you want the coin to grow and gain traction with more buy support from the outside world, you guys are responsible for making that happen... not the dev through artificial means that are just going to fail over a short amount of time without a proper ecosystem for the coin to support it in the long run.

Again, people will have different opinions about the coin and are free to make suggestions In the end it's up to the devs to decide what's best for the coin No need to make accusations I rest my case

Lets just all relax and take a deep breath, nobody is claiming that KDC is dying or that we are no longer supporting the coin. There are reasons both for concern and optimism. Many of us have a sizable stake in the success of this coin and nobody wants to see it fail. We all have an interest in KDC succeeding. However, the reason I felt the need to write my previous posts was to inform the Klondike community of the circumstances that hinder its success. Whether you want to continue to buy or sell KDC's, is a personal decision up to each individual, I think we can all agree that more information and more knowledge is always better than less.
It is silly to berate others for selling or wanting a change in the halving and just as silly to accuse people for not doing more for the coin to support and spread the word. Many of the concerned investors have donated or spent a lot of their time on this coin. Nobody can influence KDC one way or the other. If you want to buy and think this is a low price based on your knowledge, go ahead and buy, if you are concerned and think it's going lower, then sell. Let the free market do it's thing. Its a free country, you know. No need to accuse people of not being loyal to the coin. Last I checked, KDC is not paying my bills and neither are the devs. Personally, I will do whatever I feel is in the best interest for my own family in regards to investments.
My position is that I will wait and hold to see what the devs come up with. If I'm not satisfied and think my money will be put to better use elsewhere, I'm selling. If I like what I hear, I'm buying more. No need to accuse others of not having faith in KDC or doing more to help pump up the price. Let's just respect each others concerns and opinions, right or wrong.

We will be making an announcement later on tomorrow once we have had a chance to site down and discuss all possible options, we will also re align our roadmap and re evaluate the importance of each item and look to further involve the community. We are committed to the success of KDC and will do what needs to be done to ensure it succeeds . That doesn't necessarily mean forking it however, more will be announced tomorrow, in the meantime please keep up the support and carry on spreading the word. http://cryptogamecodes.com/ Will also be expanded and work will begin on making it look more appealing.

Cheers, Nick We have to be careful with trade sites being hacked.... More importantly, how do we know that the deposits won't disappear along with the web site? Caveat Emptor... You might be an honest person, but we just have to be cautious... Good luck with the trade site and hope you succeed!!!
