 People still using this exchange after the feathercoin mistake? Can you please elaborate? I am looking for an exchange and don't want to get involved with the wrong one... of course these days even MTGOX is getting a bad name.  they announced they were removing FTC and cause alot of people to panic dump, it lost over half its value, then they announced they had made a mistake and were not removing it after all. If your looking for an exchange that has FIAT pairs, try CryptoTrade (link is in my signature), its still low volume but quickly becoming a popular and trusted alternative to the less professional behaving exchanges. You can also invest in companies there using BTC or LTC, and the most recent addition is a major Chilean Organic farming corporation ( http://www.galtsgulchchile.com/), its one of the largest real world securities that I've ever seen listed on ANY Crypto stock exchange and speaks volumes about the trust they must have in the platform there. very fair and good site this Crypto-Trade I use them and now happy member of this exchange thanks to digit |

Sent 10,000 USD on the 15th October and BTC-E have still not credited my account... When I first raised a ticket support told me to send in a SWIFT copy. Since I sent that in 2 weeks ago there has been no reply.
Created a fake account on Monday and asked support what their withdrawal limits were. Support got back to me in 5 hours. When I asked them why they are not answering my support ticket on my other account... Silence.

I got this today too. They give you an hour to respond and then close. This is AFTER completely ignoring all the issues on the ticket. Been waiting for weeks to withdraw funds after I sent a wire. They are terrible and worse, it feels like their customer service is playing some sick game. I feel bad for anyone else who's wired them a large amount of USD. [HINT: WITHDRAW ALL YOUR COINS IF YOU HAVE ANY. BEFORE THE WIRE IS APPLIED TO YOUR ACCOUNT] The hold will tie up ALL your funds for at least a month and forget what they say about submitting ID and Utility. They will not release. I GOT IT TOO, THOSE ASSHOLES ARE SCREWING US |

BTC-E seems to be one of those sites that have a good reputation but do a 1 in a 100 scam. This way the majority of the users just think it is one that is having an issue and that it really is all fine. This is selective scamming.
I have talked to the chinese at the chinese chat at BTC-E and heard story from a guy in Hong Kong who sent $60,000 dollars to BTC-E and BTC-E say they cannot find his deposit. This has beeng going on for three months he said.
I have sent 21000 SEK worth of dollar to BTC-E 18 days ago. I have already sent proof of deposit at least 5 times. They simply stop replying.
I receive all the time those emails saying the ticket has been closed.
BTC-E is either having liquidity problems or they are slowly but surely scamming their customers.
Call your bank, cancel your deposits. Be safe, not sorry.

I have bought some BTC and wanted to withdraw BTC but then it says Money hold. 702 hours left

What actually made me think is that two days ago the minimum deposit was $500, but after they received it, today the minimum deposit (min sum allowed) is $2,000
It looks like "hey, the first transfer went ok, send us the next now... with more money".
Any comments on this?

Wired $600 14 days ago, raised a ticket with all the information and documents needed. Not had any reply or seen any of my $600. May not seem like much to some but it's a lot for me to lose.

More than a week ago i made four LTC transactions total of 220 LTC,
these transactions never arrived at destination LTC address.
In mine BTC-e transaction history you can see the transactions are sent!
When i ask Btc- e Support about this, they say i must have some patience.
A few days later they say the LTC arivved at the destination, But this is not true!
Now when i try to get support in this matter they completly ignore me, and try to close my ticket.
Does any one knows what to do ?
