Has anyone gotten minerd or any other CPU miner (for pool mining) to work for UTC??? I've been fighting with a version of minerd I got off a yacoin thread but I'm having ZERO luck getting it to do anything. I'd like to start CPU mining, at least at the beginning of every n-factor change, to sort of benchmark how quickly we're moving to cpu-mining viability.

This is also that I would like to know. I tried too with no luck. The "setgenerate true" command does not seems to work either in wallet terminal.

Website Maintenance Dear Binarians Since our launch we have been encouraged through your support and cooperation in making the exchange a success. During this week you highlighted several bugs that have hindered your experience on the platform. Listening to our community and following your lead on how we should conduct our services is embedded in our culture. In line with this and the priority we give to ensuring your experience is seamless, fun and memorable. The dev team have been given a time frame of two weeks to address all issues and return the platform bug free. We also want to take this opportunity to assure you that all successful candidates will have their $50 pre loaded in their accounts on our return. Binary Fund Team Here we go again. UTC is such a powerful coin that it breaks every exchange it's traded on. (that should be our motto) Keep trading, everyone - every coin (at least every coin I trade) is down big today, we just need to maintain and we'll keep moving up.

CPU mining for utc. I have it working however the hash-rate is anemic. Most likely something I am doing. (i5's and i7's) 1. Download avx version here: http://rghost.net/48068796 [I didn't try sse3 version] 2. Configure minerd bat file: minerd.exe -a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://ultra.leetpools.net:3333 -O worker_name:worker_password -t 4 I don't know what to really expect for results. It connects to pool, however very low accepts. All my rigs have 16gb ram.

Hmm anyone mining on 290/290x without HW errors? Max I can get is 130 khash but only on one card, second card is 30khash slower?? pathetic. Problem with 290 is that they do the same hashrate with g1 and g2. Maybe sgminer would add something with xintensity but I dont know any with jane support.

It's things like this that drive me nuts. he's not wrong. It is 5 times more profitable per KH/s. Unfortunately, you can only get 1/5th the hashrate of scrypt coins now, so at best, it's a wash. I don't know if it's a disingenuous push or ignorance - both bother me. edit: When he made the claim, we were hashing at twice the rate we are now which would have made the comment slightly more true as it would have been about 1.8x more profitable per the calculator. In reality, I see returns of about that. I'm still disturbed that he didn't know our hash rate had dropped to 37.5% of scrypt and that it was about to drop to around 18 - 19%. Sometimes he doesn't seem to know anything about the backend of this coin at all.
