CT is affecting UTC like how MtGox was affecting Bitcoin. It's ridiculous.
I hope CT sorts it out soon but it sounds like it'll take a month or so. (if ever)

MintPal didn't really help as it's not as good as CT anyways. (no candlesticks, less features, no shout box etc)
Unless we get UTC on Cryptsy, we are not going to get much trade volume for UTC any time soon it seems.

Cryptsy is adding every other alt coin on the planet except UTC it seems.
Does anyone know why? We don't have enough votes on Crypsty? or is BigVern boycotting UTC?

You should really ask Bumface, seeing how he allegedly is in talks with them.

Anyway I think Mintpal will gain quite a lot more volume once (if) CT releases our funds..

Lots of us have tons of ca$h stuck on it.

And other have a ton of UTC to dump.. I am really worried that the price will collapse bringing down the coin.. as a whole

I've asked him couple of pages before but haven't got any response yet.
He said in the chat at CT last week that it was due to Cryptsy being busy with malleability issue.
But just 2 days ago, Cryptsy added a whole heap of coins. No sign of UTC yet.

Just like what people did with MintPal, we should really focus on Cryptsy IMO.
MintPal is OK but it's no CT not Cryptsy really. I hate how there is no candlestick.
All I can do is bug him on twitter like this: https://twitter.com/jakimanboy/status/439151708145713155
Everyone who uses twitter, maybe we can do like a 50+ retweet?

That's expected for any coin. If that brings the market price down, that is the true market price.
But right now, that isn't even happening as barely anyone is trading any decent amount.

1.  Did you ever backup your wallet from 1.5?
2.  Do you still have 1.5?
3.  Type %appdata% into your windows search (hit windows button on the bottom left and type that in with % symbols included), open "roaming", Find ultracoin.  Is your wallet.dat file there?

1) no, I am retarded
2) 2 versions available, tried a rollback to the 20th currently, see if that restores any missing files (why it vanished in the first place from a simple install is baffling me)
3) 3 time of looking, got it, you sir are a star <3

UTC addy?

one thing..i'm concerned about being on too many exchanges...

every thing gets too spread out...little here little there..

i think it might be better if we trade in 1 exchange or concentrate it to 1 exchange

that way we can have the volume and buy support to keep the price going..

also new exchanges  have too many zeros for utc price ...we need to drop few zeros

ppl are selling .00023750 now...next is .00023749

what do you guys think about the decimal place being too many?

i think CT only had up to 6 places...

having 8 decimal places is definitely a different world than just 6. Doesn't matter to me though.

You're welcome, and you can keep your UTC.  I typically don't take tips for helping unless I spent an hour doing it.

Definitely

Seems others are starting to realise how big an issue this actually is.

Once this we get our ultracoins back from cryptotrade we can all do some advertising and get this off the ground.

We all know the price should be at least 0.0005 by now.

I agree. The key is to try not to dump, that's just pushing the price lower and lower.

CT is affecting UTC like how MtGox was affecting Bitcoin.

Knowing that there is a significant amount of the trading UTC there I would have to agree.
Theres also a lot of BTC back those coins as well.
The sooner those funds are released back into the hands of traders the faster UTC can get the momentum back

I would hope that those with a large amount of coins would actually spread them across exchanges.
Partly to mitigate risk and partly so arbitrage opportunities can be made.
Clever money would be made to work.
This way dumping is less worthwhile and prices can be maintained to a degree

It just sent 0.25 btc over to mint and spread it out over the buy orders.

Seems to be helping.
