Just wanted to let the pool operators know, that in the last 8 hours we were experiencing incoming DDOS attacks, and to prepare for it. We have full DDOS coverage so http://ultra.leetpools.com shouldnt have an issue. If you guys need a solid DDOS provider for your pool message me.

ik have one system with around 800k and one system with 200 k. So roughly about 1000k when i try to mine ultracoin. But my dashboard at ultra.nitro.org give only about 200k (both workers are active).
I think it's because of the n factor. A concept i don't yet understand.

My question is. If i enter at coinwarz.com my speed to check profitablity. Should I enter my 1000k because of de minter software (dos screen) shows 800 and 200, or should i enter the dashboard value (about 20% of what i'm getting).

Hi!

Why that for me 2 video cards 7950 give out in general only 500 k/h here. Or is it normal for the booty of UTC?

Help

Quote
ultracoinminer -o ultra.leetpools.com:3333 -u ****** -p * --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 --thread-concurrency 16384 -d 0 -d 1 -I 18 -g 1 -w 256 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale --scan-time 1 --no-submit-stale

Yep, might be right.

I've about 260k/h per 7950.

I don't understand how you guys are getting these speed... I am getting 70kh/s on my 7950... Not sure if there is something wrong or if it is normal?? I read here:

http://www.reddit.com/r/official_utc/comments/1z93t9/cgminer_configs_for_new_nfactor/

That these people aren't getting a high hash rate either ?? I am running the modded cgminer 3.7.2. When I put any thread concurrency, I instantly get HW errors so I have removed it from my line. I have a 6 GPU configuration and only getting 400kh/s! -g 1 etc... Any ideas ? Is there a new miner or something ? Intensity is 12. If I change it to 13, it gives me HW error.

The quote @ 260kh/s was before the last Nfactor change.   now 7950's get 100-125 Kh/s depending on settings.

Are you using the miner from the download link on the front page?

this seems wise, every pool should have ddos protection

To any new miners having setup issues:

1)  Just a quick reminder that with scrypt-jane, you will be getting much lower hashrates compared to regular scrypt mining.  For example, all of my various GPUs are currently hashing at approx. 20-25% of what they would on litecoin or doge.  So for a 7870, I'm getting ~80 khs (instead of 350 like I did with litecoin) and my 7970 gets ~140-150 (instead of 700).  This is normal and is a result of the "adaptive n-factor".

2)  As N-factor increases over time, hashrates will become more dependent on memory resources.  So settings in your .bat and .conf files like thread-concurrency and gpu mem clock as well as total system memory will become more important.  Also, for most people, lowering intensity has been required after N-factor increases to avoid HW errors.

I know this won't help any single person with their setup, but hopefully this will point some new miners looking for answers in the right direction.

Even better. I'll probably split mine between cryptsy, mintpal and crypto-trade. I already trade other coins on cryptsy and mintpal, so its easier to turn profits into utc (I HATE moving coins between exchanges).

Would anyone mind giving me a breakdown on the cg miner settings? Like what is thread concurrency and the -w256. I'm trying to tweak my 750ti, but i have no clue what this stuff means haha

The one on crypto-trade was great because the only coin talked about was UTC. It was like our own private troll box. If Cryptsy had one it would be bedlam.
