It's a shame that MintPal went down when it did as that is going to have a very bad effect on the potential price of UTC on Cryptsy, due to a lot of holders having kept all there coins on MintPal instead of on their desktop wallets.

Hopefully MintPal will be back up soon and the prices will remain OK for people wishing to sell/buy.

Welcome to all the new UTC community members! You're joining a solid community here...
It's good to be on Cryptsy, but now we really need BTER to spread the UTC love to China

Please keep voting/replying for UTC:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=502363.0
And:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=502900.40

Is there a way to vote more than once?

Guys, do you know of any diagnostic tool to check for any hardware defects on a gpu?  I have 8 SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC.  2 Rigs and using only 1 setting for all, I get HW errors on one particular card.  Even if I replace the card on a different slot or different rig.  I assume it is a hardware defect.  My local dealer does not understand CGMiner and mining stuff.  If I could only run diagnostic tests on the GPU and show him the errors so he could replace the card.  The GPU is totally useless as it only registers HW errors.  If you have any idea on how I could be able to prove that the gpu is defective, kindly reply. Need all my gpus running to mine UTC. thanks.

Hey everyone, I’m new here and I got a couple of questions. First of all I can’t seem to find an IRC for this coin or any kind of chat? Perhaps I’ve been looking in the wrong places, such as this thread but if anyone can help me that would be awesome. Secondly I read around here that with this special scrypt your kh/s can drop from 19-50% I can live with this but the problem is from the usual 420/440kh/s I get from my r9 270x its now down to a stunning 12~ kh/s! I’m using what I thought were the recommended settings and I have my intensity running at 12. If I put the intensity any higher than 12, I get a lot of HW’s. So I don’t know what I’m doing wrong here.

edit; the WU is only at a staggering 11.2/m
I forgot to mention this.

Need some quick help.. Got 8gb of ram in both my mining rigs and I am getting some low ram errors on main computer that I surf the net on while mining.. Only running 2 280x at tc 16123 or w.e that new tc is..

I guess I can pick up another 8gb to make them run both on 16gb each.. but I thought 8gb was even a lot.. why the low ram errors?
Browser even crashed a few times recently..

OCCT - http://www.ocbase.com/

OCCT will show any errors IIRC.. or you could try www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/video_memory_stress_test.html

Try this for a 280x
--scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 -I 12 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1250 -w 256 -g 2 --auto-fan --temp-target 75 --temp-overheat 80 --temp-cutoff 85 --thread-concurrency 16384

Should be 120-130 khs without hardware errors

It's still early on cryptsy most coins trade 1 - 3 days on cryptsy before having any real upwards traction.

The dumps on cryptsy aren't unexpected.

I think they are necessary to get some people out, but I also don't understand why they dump them so low down.
