I am a so cold bag holder and have more than +100K of UTC in my bag and my precious miners are still mining UTC.

SO TO EVERYBODY !

WAIT JUST A LITTLE MORE..... DONT SELL !

JUST HOLD !

STAY FOR THE LONG HAUL AND YOU WILL GET YOUR PROFIT BIG IN RETURN !!!

grab 1% of that and throw it my way please Smiley that would boost my UTC 1000% yes, i only have 100UTC and you have 100k. a leakage there wouldn't hurt Smiley

well honestly, im here for the long haul also, but the main reason that i mine this coin is it is not too harsh with my system, i can use my computer no problem unlike other alt coins that i used to mine, all the sluggishness i cant take anymore :p

but on a serious note, can someone explain and convince me and future readers why this coin has a bright future. Aside from the fantastic community we have, lets say real investors looks at the product of the coin, not the holder. So what does UTC have that makes it different?

donations
BTC: 1BoHYv8rHZU9rNyFjsXAaxHbQG1YYm4etV
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Haha, so many experts here (I'll admit, I'm just as bad). I have no idea what will happen, but I do believe that this is a solid coin with attributes that make it competitive with or better than just about any other coin available.

So whenever I start to have second-thoughts about supporting UTC, I ask myself this - wouldn't it have been nice to buy LTC for pennies? I am one of the smaller UTC holders here, with just about 3000 today. My goal is 10K or more. And I'm not accumulating any other coin in this way (although I am holding doge).

ultracoin is rising. and btc will be $800 within 2 weeks

Don't be in such a hurry son.
We could still be in turbulences for the next 2-3 months, so HOLD and don't despair.
When you put money on a savings account you typically do no longer care for a number of years.
Try to get this mentality with UTC and you'll most likely be rewarded.

btc is in uptrend.
yesterday was just a correction. just wait and see how it will rise to $800 within 2 weeks
BTC was $827 USD on January 7th and is $615 USD now. Please explain to all of us how that correlates to an uptrend?

There is no spoon.
There was no cup (go read investopedia again about what exactly is a cup with handle, this was no cup by any measure).

Disclaimer: this is NOT an investment advice. Therefore if things happen differently do not come back and tell I was wrong. I am only presenting what is a possible outlook based on the best of my current market knowledge as well as peer opinions.
This is by no means a prediction that intends to be 100% accurate.
The intent is to get some feedback.

There are chances that BTC will be going to 550 soon, then bounce to around 600, then dip again to around 480.
All within the next 2 weeks.

There is the possibility that the 2 next weeks be bearish for UTC as well as every other alt, so don't be afraid to hold, baghold and switch off your computer if you're afraid you could panic sell.

Everything will come to an end, then up again and for the better.

One word: HOLD.
No one needs to sell at a loss, no one.

This is SO important. The BTC price is a bellweather for the alt coin market.

[Same disclaimer as above]

I happen to like your comments and positive energy. Keep up doing what you are doing so well because we'll probably be going downer and downer until there are tears and blood in the streets.

Capitulation has not happened yet, do not forget this. So the best course of events is not to be at 100% in coins. Keep at least 50% fiat for when everybody will talk about suicide, divorce, repossessions etc. etc. This could take as long as 2 more months.

Until then: do not touch any of your cash and do not sell any of your coins.

HOLD!

Honestly.... I was a bit disappointed that BigVern screwed us, instead of two coins he added four new coins.
So we did not had to invest so much BTC for buying votes. But getting screwed is some times part of life.

Also I am a bit disappointed by the start of our coin at Cryptsy and the price were it is now....

But, and there is always the but:  I still believe in UTC.

I am a so cold bag holder and have more than +100K of UTC in my bag and my precious miners are still mining UTC.

Till this very moment I did dent sell any of my coins. Not one of them.... I refuse to sell under $1,50 or more.

And if there will be any good moment that its time to sell I wont will dump the market at once because I also believe that UTC will reach $3 or $4, so I will spread selling my coins about different selling moments...

Quote: "...There is the possibility that the 2 next weeks be bearish for UTC as well as every other alt, so don't be afraid to hold, bag hold and switch off your computer if you're afraid you could panic sell..."

I agree whit this quote. The next two weeks or even the next four or eight weeks I keep my +100K wallet firmly closed if needed !

SO TO EVERYBODY !

WAIT JUST A LITTLE MORE..... DONT SELL !

JUST HOLD !

STAY FOR THE LONG HAUL AND YOU WILL GET YOUR PROFIT BIG IN RETURN !!!

proof of your 100K, where is it?

You need proof ...?! Wow, that's a very stupid question!
You want to know where my UTC are Huh
In my wallet dude.... more proof you don't need.

But important for everybody is not if you have 478 UTC or 2K or 10K or 100K .....

What important is to keep it now.

Don't sell cheap.

Hold.

Hold even for the long haul if necessarily...

Short term trends are good for making money here and there but the long term trend is a much better indicator of where things are probably heading. News is the biggest market maker ATM and when that happens volatility is the game. Caveat Emptor.  Grin

He meant an uptrend since the GOXXIN'.. btc was on the rise since March 2nd/3rd, then it dropped today.

OK! But a week doesn't mark an uptrend IMHO. Time will tell.

At first I thought a self-moderated thread wasn't a good thing, but after having read AUR's thread (a  troll-ridden cesspool) I'm all for it.

one long term strategy is since we all have faith in crypto surviving the long hall, it's going to need more and more new faces around.  As these new faces come they are going to be interested in bitcoins.  maybe we can have someone make a quick youtube or something advertising bitcoins.  Explaining what wallets, what exactly alts are, all the simple general knowledge etc.  as all the new money comes in, have UTC be the first ALT they are introduced to.  I think supporting the whole cyrpto community can benefit us.

the ULTRAbeginners handbook to bitcoins

short term: stop selling low

CAN SOMEONE MAKE A MONITORING SITE FOR ULTRA COIN WITH SOME CANDLE STICKS? PEOPLE LIKE CANDLE STICKS.
If we had a dogemonitor or bitcoinwisdom kind of site, it would attract a lot of trading.
http://dogemonitor.com/
If someone could rip off bitcoin wisdom in the early days of dogecoin, we can doit to.

Lets be honest, the charts on crypsty suck, the charts on crypto-prices.com/utc also suck.
A decent chart will attract atleast 10% more trades.

Is the code templates for that site public license?

That's actually a really good idea!
