"Finding a breakthrough niche is what takes time"

Last night, my brother (unhappy miner of alt coins) asked me, what could be the use of UTC? He told me about the community effort to make UTC usable in the real world. Being amateur photographer myself, I offered some ideas, and he asked me to put them on the forum.

so, why don't you make a site, so photographs around the world, can sell their photos for UTC? So far, there are none, and if you do it on a short notice, and be the first to offer such service, it could be the breakthrough you need.

Speaking of that, Petapixel just had similar post: http://petapixel.com/2014/03/03/photographers-accept-bitcoin-payment/

I think selling stock photo for UTC has huge potential, and entering into photo community could be profitable.

In the meanwhile, you can use Instagram, to do some marketing. You can have photo contest, for example, ask everyone to take a photo with something ULTRA on it, hash-tag it #UTC or #ultracoin and you link the tag with your FB page. It will generate free content, and you can make people vote for the best Ultra photo. Same content can be linked on the official page. Small prize is always welcomed, for the  best photos. Since you already have giveaway going, you can add Instagram campaign, or wait for some opportune moment to do it.

Wish you every luck, and may the UTC go to the moon... (and make my brother happy).

p.s. If you need any help, I am willing to participate as much as I can.

it's just a constant sell into the buy order's no1 is buying anymore

Why would someone buy at 0,0001, when he could buy at 0,00006 - 0,00007 tomorrow?

0.00009 this price is even lower than the price it had at launch

i remember "freshmarket.co.in" the price started at almost 0.0002
keep lying to yourself guys that it will be OK

but there are less then 1000 Miners on this coin.
we gona lose those miners also if the price is gona stand at 0.0001
Almost every other coin out there is more profitable then UTC

Dumping is not the way ..dumping keep people away.!
Did you guys think people that come and see this coin will say "Omg there is POTENTIAL"
NO they say look another dead coin

Pump the coin stop Dump like retards for 0.02 btc profit and maybe the coin will have a future.
And new people new miners will come .

No fear my friend: This is normal because all alts are dumping here: people switch to AUR because people love get rich quick schemes. They do not know that it's unhealthy to buy coins during the parabolic phase and will soon discover one or two things. Wait until dumps begin and you'll get them back.

Mark Twain once said:
"The man that sets out to carry a cat by it's tail learns something that will always be useful and which will never grow dim or doubtful".

Folks, that Against Hunger site looks really shady. They say they are a non for profit agency but do not say what country they are incorporated in? For instance if they were in the US they would be a 501(c)(3) corporation. I don't know about other countries.

Also the claim about 100% of funds raised going towards feeding children is dubious. It would be the first such organization that I know of to do so. All legit non-profits have at least minimal administration costs. Never have I seen one that doesn't.

Anybody selling at 9000 to buy into this AUR pump and dump is a fool... 21 million coins with a 50% premine, this means the dev currently holds 11.5 million coins., if he dumps all of them at the current market price he makes a over a billion dollars... and even if he doesn't.. do you really think the people of iceland are going to hold onto their free $3000 in AUR? ... No they aren't, they're going to dump them as soon as they get them

Nevermind AUR, folks I solved that.

I've bought 0.05AUR, if the same happens as always I buy a coin AUR would go to ground zero.

 Wink

Something more useful:

I made a SMOS/BAMT ready to use Image, with ultracoin miner preinstalled.

http://com.moogle.at/SMOS-UTC-Linux1.5-2GB.zip

* Based on SMOS 1.3 with updates to 1.5
* 2GB Image
* cgminer with scrypt-jane patches
* working default config (almost failsafe defaults) for UTC
* vertminer, sph-miner installed too

Hope thats worse for the OP.

Really want to UTC to succeed, been mining strong (until last night) and holding my coins but it just seems a vicious cycle. Every step taken forward, 5 more are taken backwards. BTC is finally recovering after recent problems and UTC seems to reach a new low every few days.

I like mining of this coin because i can fully use my rig while mining and use it as a gaming machine, no other coin offers this possibility. I can play and mine, the mining doesnt eat all my HW resources.

However people are not selling UTC tu buy Titanic, they sell UTC to buy BTC because some pump of BTC was announced.

In Pump and Dump we trust.
