Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I don't understand people who sell now lol if you didn't sell at 25 cents pretty much pointless to sell now within a day or two they will probably announce crypstsy test wallet and the chart will go ape shit crazy.
Anyone whos selling now probably bought in at 5 cents and is anxious to take profit I guess...

Hate to always be the Debbie downer of the group, but don't take your eye off the ball here. Cryptsy is good, but we still need to continue to focus on developing actual things to do with the coin. I'm still stuck with real life work through the end of this week now. You won't have to worry about my devil's advocate attitude for the rest of the day even. Back to the trenches!

Sry folks, dumper are everywhere, we r going to lose the 2xx very soon!
In case you did not remark UTC has been pumped since this morning. This did not make much of a surprise to some members of the forum. Therefore the timing at which to sell a bit of our holdings to repurchase them later was kind of obvious. As a matter of fact this is not yet time to repurchase. Yea we know you missed the boat hoping to get all your buy order's filled below the 8's and BTW this aint even a pump its a correction back to CT price's before it closed Wait until the big boy's come and play later then you will see a price rise and even more of a price rise when the test wallet goes up for crapsty And to the ppl comparing it to AUR that was pumped by wolong and his grp UTC aint pumped by no1 Yes, that would be me. I did nicely trading AUR when the pump/dump was happening. This is the exact same pattern of the long term pump then dump with intermittent 0.00003-5 cycles. If it were retracing back to pre-CT closure levels, that would have been the high of 0.00041 a few hours ago (now at 0.00028.) IMO, unless Cryptsy and/or CT trading starts soon, in a couple of days we'll be back at 0.0001-0.0002.

vvvortex I got an Eagle for Christmas one year! Detachable capsule and engines. They went well with my Micronauts.
Was that the Mego one? I still have that one but unplayed with. I'm kind of a collector. I have all of the models too, both built and unbuilt - what fun!

Good point. I wish I had more to offer in that area but I am an accountant, not a programmer.

How much of a chance do you think this coin has to going to 0.001? Should I put what little BTC I have in to UTC? I don't want 0.0004 to be the peak and lose it all. What is everyone elses opinions?
Its already been at 0.001 when Crypto-Trade was up

I have 4x280x @ 1080/1500 and i'm getting 110MK/s per card with config: setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1 setx GPUMAXALLOCPERCENT 100 setx GPUUSESYNC_OBJECTS 1 ultracoinminer -o stratum+tcp://utc.greekpool.eu:3337 -u user -p pass --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 -w 256 -g 2 -I 12 --thread-concurrency 16384 --failover-only --no-submit-stale --lookup-gap 3 --expiry 10 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 I saw many people get 130-135KH/s, what am I missing? I've tested with 4GB and 8GB RAM and there's no difference.

quickest i've ever lost 30$ lol. bought in at 36k. sold out at 29k ) You should have held, because we're going up again in an undisclosed amount of time. If we get on cryptsy then I can't tell but profits are going to be astonomical, although I believe long term holding might bring more money...

We had massive space wars in the backyard. Sadly they all went into the trash so long ago. Kuddos for collecting them. Priceless.

Think everyone who bought in at 5 cents is almost done selling now, should be smooth sailing for the rest of the evening.... I mean it was to be expected, after crypto-trade went down a lot of people had opportunity to buy coins at extremely artificially low prices, people are obviously going to take a little profit on a trade like that, 18cents ~ 19 cents is a pretty good support base to build on.
