Sorry to hear that! I personally didn't have a problem with Poloniex yet. But I don't trade margins - too risky for me. Good luck on Bitfinex!

Kind of off topic, and a rather silly question, BUT my wife was asking how to pronounce Poloniex, and we couldn't quite work it out, and I know it doesn't really matter in online conversation, but could be embarrassing if you speak to another trader face-to-face and get it totally wrong

Is it
   poloni-ex, like an exchange based in Poloni in Brazil
   polo-necks, like the shirt

   or something else

I think bitfinex handled it correct and gave the lenders back the ETH(prefork) which they can divide in ETH + ETC as their wish.

Everything I've read indicates they did the same thing Polo did.

That ETC is free, so you don't need to purchase it if you already have ETH pre fork.

1. When logging in - have to click Login twice before the page responds
2. When placing an order - The 'please wait' box doesn't confirm that an order has been placed and sits there unresponsive (when refreshing page the order has been placed) -

could be an issue with Async callbacks maybe the site is too busy - or maybe its something my end

Would be interesting to know if anybody else is noticing the same issue - and if they are using a different browser

I got the second one as well once but at that time everyone was going crazy on ETC which might have caused that.

btw I am using chrome as well.
