Have the masternode payments been implemented yet or are they running for free right now? I would like to set my own masternode up but am unsure of how to do this. If someone could create a guide that would be wonderful. I don't want to lose my 1000drks!
Just running tests no payments yet. Will there be a guide set up to show to to operate a masternode and can this be done from a personal computer or does a virtual machine need to be set up? What's wrong with this guide? https://www.darkcointalk.org/threads/darkcoin-update-masternode-requirements-masternode-payments.225/I am currently running one from home on my mining rig. And I think I am close to beat my personal time record of continuous mining of a single altcoin. (Guess the coin, LOL.)

I personally prefer to run it on a private server feels more secure.

I downloaded the latest wallet but it doesn't sync, anybody could help me?
Are there nodes availables?

Yes nodes are available. DNS seed and static ip seed. What is your os ? Removing peers.dat might be help. Windows 8.1 x64 I removed peers.dat but still not syncs. Anyone could give me some nodes?

There sure are an increasing number of GWs nowadays. I've been seeing NGW and just now saw VGW. lol Evan started a trend with DGW.
Are they using Evan's code and giving it another name? Is that kosher?

Anyone could give me some nodes? 1. which version of the wallet do you have? Beta or regular? 2 Either way, if you didn't "just" download, it might be a slightly older version, which wouldn't sync. If you get the one that should be linked right now, it should work. Also, use only addnode= in config, no connect= because that's been causing trouble. BTW, fix didn't get a new version number

My darkcoin-qt wallet is stuck on a block 3 days ago and is refusing to update past there. I have tried deleting the blockchain and re-downloading it but it didn't work. I believe I have the latest wallet 0.9.1.2
It took me a few times opening.. waiting.. closing.. reopening before I got the updated blocks.

I'm going to be releasing a couple more updates for V6 to stabilize masternodes and payments. Then V7 will have masternode signatures for secure communication (ECDSA). After that maybe a couple fixes, then we'll be out a beta. After that my next project is masternode payments. I'd say 3-4 weeks out maybe? Then we'll start the RCs and after the network grows and we have stability, I'll opensource.

As the designer of #8, I still think #6 is by far the best. #2 just seems a bit too busy and probably won't scale well, but it seems like some people like it more than #6 because of its color scheme. The color scheme can be changed very easily, so I think we should bet too hung up on a design because it's "darkness" or lack therof. I think that's something that can be settled after a design is chosen. Just an example of what could be done for those who think #6 is too dark (using #2's color scheme): guess who couldnt sleep tonight....
