You must be confusing me with someone else.  The last time (before a few weeks ago) i Bought Dash, it was called Darkcoin and i bought it on Mintpal, around 2014, 2015...  and sold it just before it first ever mega pump, that does still haunt me, would have made me four figure BTC even if i just hold sold 50% of the Mega Pump.  Anyhow...

Just to put the record straight.  Im not calling Dash a Scam, any coin alive and kicking since 2013+ gets a thumbs up from me, but any sign its partnering or promoting Scam sites, it gets dropped like a hot potatoe. 

FACTS that CloudBet is a scammy as they come, i hope everyone here avoid it like the plague. Just have to look at the hundreds of reviews from the poor bastards that lost money there.

BTW Dash is one of the only coins that is NOT a shit coin.  In fact, the most important thing about Dash is that development is NOT funded by any 3rd party like all other cryptos, but rather funded by the structure of the network rewards and voted on how to allocate those funds via vote which is influenced by the community at large.  Anyone can participate.  Of course it goes much deeper than that.

I just saw it too. This is actually great news for Android users. Now they can directly access the DashPay Testnet App in the Google PlayStore, install it and try it out for themselves.


By the way, everyone, use this link to get tDASH in your DashPay Testnet app:

All Test Dash acquired & transacted has no value and cannot be used on Mainnet. There may be times when one or more of the networks need to be "wiped" which means all Test Dash, Usernames, Contacts and associated transactions will be lost.

It's a standard major release. Normal procedure applies. It's not required to use Masternode Zeus, this is a tool provided by one of our community members.

Sentinel is getting an unexpected response from Dash Core 0.17 due to an updated RPC. A PR with a fix was just merged. You have to update to Sentinel V1.6.0 to get the fix: git pull

The team is indeed aware of the minor UI issues that are being reported by people who test the app. The devs know what the cause is.

No problem. The issue is currently on their backlog and will be fixed in one of the coming updates.

"Normal procedures" are already a bit over the head for non linux users like me. It feels very wired to copy past commandos and have no clue what they are doing. I mean yes I get the basic ideas of the commands  but they always come with a bunch of additional flags/letters and do things I do not understand how they can do such forexample replacing a program actually running. Or I type ls and depending on the user I get different folder content. But then I  guess thats why Linux ppl like it.

Anyway I ended up useing Zeus. Just dash I had done without but with the sentinel addition it's better to go with the tool. Simpler is better. Thank you for the tool! I worried too much about the update. Zeus makes it nice simple.
I see what sentinel is for or better read it up but this is not essential for getting masternode payments to my understanding!? What keeps one from not installing or updateing it? I hope it becomes back integrated into the main software.

Anyway I ended up using Zeus.

Hi gadado2, I am the author of the DASH Masternode Zeus and yes, it is the easist way to upgrade your masternode.  It has two options for this, one to upgrade the dashd and the option to update the Sentinel, current version is 1.6.0.  You are right, it does not seem to impact payments by not having a working Sentinel, but I am not 100% sure of this.  If you notice you get a POSE Score, please also update the Sentinel, easy as pie using the DMZ.  Also, thanks for your kind words.  I will be making an update to it to handle DASH Evolution (Platform), although Strophy's DASHMate, is pretty awesome too!

The upgrade is going really smooth, 67.9% of the MN network has been updated to Dash Core V0.17.0.2:

Update regarding HD wallets:

Upgrading a non-Hierarchical Deterministic (HD) wallet to an HD wallet is now possible. Previously new HD wallets could be created, but non-HD wallets could not be upgraded. This update will enable existing non-HD wallets to upgrade to take advantage of HD wallet features. Upgrades must be done via either the debug console or command line and a new backup must be made when this upgrade is performed.
