That "backward country" is probably holding more cards in the world geopolitical manoeverings than anyone else apart from maybe China. They are also a huge landmass with vast natural resources of agriculture, oil and gas and could probably survive quite happily even if the entire world sanctioned them.

They are also a nation of some of the most intellectually capable, culturally diverse and resilient people in the world who's population has been to hell and back through 100 years of war, famine and extremes of political ideology.

They're not exclusive in those characteristics - all nations have their unique histories and rich heritages. But "backwards" is not a word I would use to describe Russia.

Darkcoin has a whole bunch of competitors within touching distance now. A valuation of 0.012 to 0.013 will jump it no less than 4 places in the marketcap rankings.

After that there's quite a lot of open space to get to Bitshares, but another 20% would certainly raise a few eyebrows.

4 testnet masternodes running with no issues so far  

The build process takes a lot of time to complete as it uses just one core. In order to use the other cores we need more than 1GB of ram so just

Code:

sudo nano /etc/dphys-swapfile

set swapsize to 2048

Code:

CONF_SWAPSIZE=2048

and setup the swap

Code:

sudo dphys-swapfile setup

after this you can use for example

Code:

make -j 3

to use 3 cores to compile.

Really nice to have a comment like yours, I'm at the moment struggling with bitcoin node on a raspberry pi B+, I'll be moving it to a dedicated pi since that one uses torrent, etc... I'll get a new raspberry pi 2 and set a masternode to help the darkcoin network, what bandwidth would you recommend? (i know that you need 1000 DRK to set up the node ), are you using raspbian?
