I think it`s good time to buy dash now as it is on its bottom. But I`d like to know first if its redhead dev still owns 50% of instamined dashes? Or he already sold them to Otoh?
Not only that but the red headed Instaminer coded a backdoor into DASH.

No he now owns way more as he continuously receives more free coins with the "mastenode" payments. This is a long-con job.

Haha they are trying harder and harder, must be on their last leg. Desperate to keep the price of dash down, can tell something is coming from the depths of the ocean soon.

Do we really have to play this game over and over again? The Dash team are the most up and up in all of crypto. The only difference between Bitcoin's developers who are out in the open and Dash developers who are also out in the open, is that Dash actually has a talented crew.
I kindly suggest Evan to submit his Evolution Whitepaper to Ledger, so we can see if the DASH team is really talented, or it's all air they are selling. I'd just like to bump this since a number of people probably have dnaleor on ignore by now. But publication in a journal would definitely help with "street cred" as well as the PR effort. Evan is going to privately code this so that Dash doesn't get trumped and I fully support this. When it's ready, you will get to know, until then, you have to wait like the rest of us. If you don't trust that he has a real plan, and his past performance isn't enough, then, well, what can I say? Too bad, eh? I want to know as well. Sorry for sounding persnickety, but I've let loose some trolls, and I've gotten in a sour mood, LOL. They're back on ignore. But yah, if we can get it published in a journal, that'd be great, but which one? Tante, he just needs material for flyers for next conference...

But yah, if we can get it published in a journal, that'd be great, but which one? Well, this thing that he mentioned, Ledger, is a peer-reviewed journal for the cryptocurreny space that was recently announced. So the suggestion makes perfect sense. And it's not about getting advance access, it's about getting this thing looked at from all angles, so that possible problems are discovered before someone has a chance to exploit them on mainnet You'll have to excuse TS, who probably is more familiar with security-in-obscurity secret cookie recipes than coding and the FOSS paradigm. Anybody who thinks they can flesh out a protocol in secret and then deploy it, full-blown and working, is in for a world of hurt." [Nick Szabo, 1993-8-23] Unlike Dash, legitimated coins are open sourced, test-netted, and peer-reviewed PRIOR to launch. If BTC, LTC, XMR, etc. weren't terrified of being "trumped" then WTF is Dash's major malfunction with regard to public examination of its code? Such a lack of confidence in its ability to withstand public scrutiny doesn't reflect well on any project, but that's especially true for crypto-coins. Closed source is a red flag for scams, bugs, and malware. Closed source feeds the default assumption any new alt is a shitcoin. Closed source means you trust the third party programmer(s). That's a no-no, unless you are a gullible housewife type...

Thanks for the new update moocowmoo! I was wondering why my nodes were not visible online, but now I understand that dashninja api is currently offline.
Yeah, he'd updated to mysql 5.7 and one of his queries conflicted with the default settings. (so I built a quick patch to let you know this next time. defensive coding? whats that?! ) Here's what the status command looks like now (his api is back online) (apparently something changed with chainz api that I've gotta go check out now) Hmmm I'm still only seeing a red error about the dashninja api being offline, and the output stops. The dashninja web page works fine for me though.

Well, this thing that he mentioned, Ledger, is a peer-reviewed journal for the cryptocurreny space that was recently announced. That thing is for academics. People who sit writing scholarly articles for scholarly journals all day so they can score a few points from others who are busy doing exactly the same. Evan is not an academic, he's an entrepreneur. If he puts anything down on paper at all it'll be for practical purposes to achieve a practical result. Having spent some time in academic institutions I wouldn’t hold much store over the value of getting a ‘peer review’ from there that’s anything other than a tyre kicking exercise thats rendered obsolete within weeks by new developments. Dash is not a research activity. It's an entrepreneurial software project with well specified objectives defined by the age old properties of money, not academics. You can code it anyway you like as long as it meets those requirements and does so reasonably securely. Don't worry - it will get critical appraisal alright (with the emphasis on 'critical'). It'll probably even get academic 'critical appraisal', but it's not the subject of 'scholarly journals', it's the subject of the commercial realm.

I goofed, then pushed a fix a minute later. just do ' dashman sync status' (only needed once) and you'll be fine. ('dashman sync status' is the same as running 'dashman sync ; dashman status') running 'sync' pulls down all the commits on github not yet released (as a new version), but it's always safe to run. I keep master in a working state (except when I goof, hehe)

...discusses Peter Todd's preference for Monero's "good crypto" over Dash's "bad crypo."
Well Peter Todd is wrong - as I've explained many times. Far as I can tell Peter Todd is a wanker On open source, I want these people commenting on DRK:
Greg Maxwell Andreas Antonopoulos Amir Taaki Peter Todd
Before PT called out Dash's "snakeoil" and "bad crypto" his opinion was invited. Ditto for GMAX. Peter Todd @petertoddbtc :
"The uncommented C code #CryptoNote is written in is awful; there's no way this crap doesn't have multiple buffer overflow exploits in it."
RIP Cryptonote coins ?
When PT said something negative about cryptonote's codebase, his opinion was welcomed here with open arms. My, how times change.

Icebreaker do they have internet access in jail? I mean not that I am complaining... I mean the most wanted crypto criminal now strongly affiliated with Monero commenting constantly in a topic discussing a real cryptocurrency Dash. You are a fan of Dash I knew it. But I rather have John Doe commenting here than a criminal scammer, no offense.
Oh they dropped the soap, can you pick it up Icy??

This thread is a whole lot nicer without the vitriol. I highly recommend it. Icebreaker's being quite nice today actually, I'm a bit weirded out by it. He even put up a link to something earlier in another thread, can't remember the name at the mo but "money doesn't stink" in English, interesting read. Was hoping for a screenshot full top to bottom of "this user is ignored" earlier though, it only needed 2 more! Hehe, yeah a page ago was mostly ignore messages here too. But I wasn't really pointing at anybody in particular. Ice just happened to post while I was making my screenshot.

They have also agreed to keep asking for the white paper
Ask in one hand, spit in the other. See which one fills up first. The papers will be released when the code is. Until it's ready, chill. Regarding the vaporware argument, I can publicly attest that evolution is real and commits are happening daily.

discusses Peter Todd's preference...
Well Peter Todd is wrong - as I've explained many times. I'm afraid there's is no Photoshop magnification available to you that can satisfactorily substitute techno-trainspotting skills for monetary ignorance. Hard to tell if Prof. Todd is right or wrong. No backup details or explanations or proof or theories or facts or guesses or any utterances of any kind have come to light explaining his statement. I have contacted him on every publicly available address, but have not heard back or read anything explaining. Prof. Todd: "Rather have cleaned up bad code w/ good crypto over bad crypto..." Any sane person: "Could you explain what you mean by that, it's a little vague?" <cricket sounds> Prof. Todd: " " By the way iCEBREAKER, you cannot post anything on this thread until you RSVP with Big R.

I think he would have specified if he had specifics. Especially considering his technical background. (I've worked with his code (python-bitcoin), it's very well written) Also, he could have made that statement with uninformed assumptions. Vague dismissals like that are why I'm not a bitcoin millionaire.

Regarding the vaporware argument, I can publicly attest that evolution is real and commits are happening daily. Be that as it may, he could have seen this coming. He's been dropping hints about this 75 page whitepaper for a while now, and the presentation slide that gets passed around only ups the ante. But then, the next message is that for the next three months, this will all be kept under wraps. I know someone probably thinks that this is some clever Apple-style marketing move, but considering the circumstances, it should be clear that the trolls will make full use of this period to fill it with fud (and someone, somewhere, is bound to fall for it ==> mission accomplished)

Does that say that the crypto community would be "better off" with InstanTx?
