Good to see Dash mentioned here. Bitcoin cannot scale with Dash's governance model, but Dash sure can scale with it's own established system. Commented.

I'm giving up on DASH
The crypto-community hates DASH and does nothing but kick it around and kick it down
Everybody is hung up on past actions....
I'm done....

Masternodes will be sold off and I won't be back...

Dash had every opportunity to eschew the insta-mine and do a fair relaunch.  But the dev is more committed to keeping his "accidental" insta-mine than giving the coin's technology a chance to stand on its own, without being sandbagged by the botched fiasco of the initial two days.

I'm glad you've decided to do the right thing.  Always be the first one to panic, and slowly move towards the exits when you smell smoke.

Once a few Masternodes are sold off, the stampede for the door will begin.  It will get ugly; some people will be trampled and not make it out.

But we should note it's not only "past actions" which are an albatross around Dash's neck.  There's also the current, impossibly ambitious Evolution roadmap, which has zero hope of achieving even one of its blue-sky goals, much less a plurality or majority of them.

First of all, Dash has virtually the same size network as Bitcoin, who's network is dropping like flies.  Second, of course Bitcoin's infrastructure is too different to make this work.  This is because Bitcoin's infrastructure is extremely basic and faulty and completely runs on altruism.  How long can that last?  Not much more, it's quickly becoming the tool of the establishment, because that's the only way Bitcoin can survive.  Eventually they will own the network, and they will charge for it's use, just like they do today, but indeed, service will be faster.

Finally, non-contentious issues?  We've been fighting over all kinds of things, but we've been resolving them via the voting system.  It's easier to stop the fighting when there is clear consensus in one direction, then you pick up your gloves, and resign to the decision, and move on to the next issue at hand.

It's like Mr. Antonopoulos refuses to open his eyes.  I'm so saddened by this.  Especially since most of the innovations in the space were inspired by Mr. Antonopoulos's speeches.  He must really be beholden to Bitcoin in some nefarious way, IMO.  It simply doesn't make sense that he isn't excited about all the progress in the alt-space world.

I know that I should not be responding to you, but what you said here is just to ridiculous. You can not just abandon a project like this and expect that to be fair. To relaunch would be completely unfair on the current investors and miners. Continuing with the project after a flawed launch was the right thing to do. For you to even suggest a relaunch reveals that it is your ethics that are flawed.
