I have good news. Check out block 7290. Masternode payments works with p2pool.

That's Grrrreat!

what do pool operators need to do to patch? Or will the fix get pulled into chaeplin's github?

Kellog's frosties or this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow7pwIDhl5c ?

Totally unrelated to Darkcoin but I love that video lol

I do love to sidetrack onto random memes

Well random unrelated - graping someone in the mouth is kinda dark. Anyways Tongue Don't you remember the tigers for the cereals? Kellog's frosties - It's GRRREAT!

so we are still loosely on track and if someone is to blame it is you for reminding me!

Anyways, again, Is there a console command in wallet to see MN count?

Similar issue, though I have a local / remote setup (no DRK on the MN wallet).  masternode count is 0, but both of my masternodes show up on http://drk.poolhash.org/darksend.html (the two in iceland).

Jumping on the irc.

Is it possible to side chain Darkcoin with Bitcoin?

I know, why would you want to darkcoin is its own currency, etc.

If you can side chain off bitcoin, then you can and anyone that wants to avoid risking zerocash has an option, but you can also side chain with any alt. Every alt doesn't have to develop anonymity. They just pay the Darkcoin nodes for anonymous transactions.

Sad, I know...always thinking of my precious, my precious.

I've taken a loss cashed out (in BTC) and joined this forum because the Cryptsy site has slowed to a crawl and the latest trades aren't updating. It's like playing darts with a blindfold on. All the pathetic little arrows in the sidebar work, but not the most important bit. I was ready to hold on through the price crash without sleep if needs be... but not with a handicap too. There's a whale gobbling up all us minnows (and maybe just saving our assets too) with a massive bitcoin wall. But it won't sustain the price indefinitely. Dogecoin all over again? Meanwhile I'm looking at Liberty.
Can anyone recommend a decent exchange with a functioning interface?

Mintpal is pretty much agreed to be the best out there right now. Cryptsy is a dinosaur in comparison.

Many thanks for the advice. I'll check it out in the morning (when I've done licking my wounds and spitting nails). I see the price is holding on cryptsy but little sign of movement (just punters cashing out). If the coin can't trade freely it'll die. And what's the point of an anonymous coin if the exchanges are pressuring us for account verification?
Sorry. I'm ranting. but the promoters need to look hard at the distribution network.

You're not thinking clearly right now about DRK fundamentals. Go get some sleep, have a drink, deep breath, take a break. If you are a long-term investor then read about DRK again and see if it sounds right for you. If you're looking to day trade this is not the best coin for that. I may be reaching but day trading may not be your thing since you sound so stressed out about this. Either way good luck!

I just looked up this Libertycoin - wow what a clusterfuck. First the devs say they are going to implement zerocoin when it is released, zerocoin is not coming anytime soon, so they then decide against that and offer a 2 BTC bounty for someone to implement a "darksend" LOL, then they completely abandon the idea of being an anonymous coin and are now marketing it as a POS X11 coin and remove all references to it being anonymous.  Too funny!  This is why it is SOO important to have a top notch dev leading the project! <3 Evan.
