No, not true.  If you had multiples of 1000 DRK, it's far better to run multiple nodes.

In RC3 Multiple entry Masternodes are coming (Evan said it in IRC) so you'll be able to put 4000 DRK (aka close to 60 000$) on a 4x payout Masternode if you feel like it and get an increased chance of payout instead of having to set up multiple nodes which could clutter up the network.

Yes, I was hoping for a feature like that, awesome.  Grin

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/

Why are CPU pool and P2P pool still mining the wrong chain?  Didn't anyone get the memo?

CPU pool is sit on wrong chain.

P2POOL is not.

As http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/ use tx 0 out index, if there is two addess, counted as p2pool.
I was true before Masternode payment.

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/tx.dws?328517.htm

Marked as p2pool extracted, but has two output 1) CPU pool, 2) Maternode payment.

Currentely CPU Pool is sit on wrong chain, chainz.cryptoid.info also.

Using a local wallet on Windows now with a Remote Linux Server for my Masternode. Seems to be working fine.

Running windows 9.4.8.  Sent some coins without realizing my internet connection was down (I'm having fun with moving coins tonight, let me tell you).

The wallet thinks I sent them, but the network does not.  What is the best way to force my wallet to rescan?

Thanks.

i think it would be great to have a step by step
Maternode setup guide (as the one of Chaplin)
https://darkcointalk.org/threads/how-to-set-up-ec2-t1-micro-ubuntu-for-masternode-part-1-3.240/

for other servers than Amazon !!
I read that 54 % are on Amazon (and i guess US based)
we need this to be wider spread around the globe (and off Amazon)

can anybody please do that

an idea -  Masternode rig setup:

1) A dedicated server with proper ddos protection : for remote
    - a lot of ip with one interface(aliased)
    - for simplicity and to avoid mess up, each ip is assigned to different user account using bind, externalip and rpcport option

example
Code:
* user01 , ip a, /home/user01
#--------------------
externalip=a
bind=a
bind=127.0.0.2
rpcport=9997
#--------------------

* user02 , ip b, /home/user02
#--------------------
externalip=b
bind=a
bind=127.0.0.3
rpcport=9996
#--------------------

* user03 , ip c, , /home/user03
#--------------------
externalip=c
bind=c
bind=127.0.0.4
rpcport=9995
#--------------------

2) local machine within nat
    - testing

Masternode payment start : 1.6 hours left

I am not paid yet, so I can't sure but this is my config for local RC Masternode holding 1K.

1) stable darkcoind conf / userAA
Code:
bind=192.168.0.x
bind=127.0.0.1

2) RC masternode / userBB
Code:
bind=127.0.0.2
rpcport=9997
connect=127.0.0.1
masternodeprivkey=my_node_pv_key / not wallet password
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=remoteserverip:9999

RC masternode only connect to local stable darkcoind.

Stack it up.
userCC, bind=127.0.0.3, rpcport=9996, masternodeaddr=remoteserverip2:9999
userDD, bind=127.0.0.4, rpcport=9995, masternodeaddr=remoteserverip3:9999
userEE, bind=127.0.0.5, rpcport=9994, masternodeaddr=remoteserverip4:9999

Before that though go to CMD prompt, and cd to where your darkcoin-qt.exe program is.

do /darkcoinqt.exe --rescan

That will force it.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

I hope the I2P comes first... Or simultaneously. I'm not running a MN until it's invisible. But when I do, oh the reaping there will be...

... I said REAPING!

I'm curious about this 10-foot pole and how it would or would not impact the decision.

If I knew where the website owner was, and I could flog him with the 10-foot pole, maybe...

Can someone please explain to me why people are dumping thousands of Darkcoin well below what they could otherwise get for them by staggering sell orders??

Is this just pure greed in that they want others to panic dump so they can buy back cheaper??

This is fucking absurd. Was going along perfectly at 268 then after lunch I see it hit 240 =(
