but what people do even invest in these coins?
Those who think they can beat others in the pump & dump game. It's the same guys winning all the BTC coin after coin, launching huge mining hashes at launch and waiting for the pump. The 2 day PoW period of DarkCash is ideal - spend a few BTC to rent gigahashes and get 50% of the coins and win 100's of BTCs. |

This new scam coin DARKC is already waiting to steal/copy darksend code when its released.
I am sick and tired of 2 new scam coins releasing every day.
This is how Btc felt about Ltc and the altcoin universe. Arguably, it did not affect Btc negatively. Its basically free advertisement I know if I saw that I'd go find out what darksend is and then buy some darkcoins At this point it's a parasite, the name is way too close. |

Forget software development, I get the impression that a lot of people commenting don't have any coding experience at all.
It doesn't matter if it is finished tomorrow, the end of the month, or sometime in August as we know what the plan is -- and the progress towards implementing/testing said plan is public. I mean, do people want buggy code open-sourced? If there is some major exploit in Darksend and coins are stolen after the final release DRK is finished -- given that possibility, I'd much rather let Evan and the other devs do their due diligence.
