Can I ask a question ?
What is the step in the masternode setup that links a masternode privkey (the one you specify in darkcoin.conf) with the funded wallet address ?
I'd like to understand the principles of cold wallet masternodes rather then just following steps all the time.
For example, I'd like to set up 2 masternodes. Can I use the same wallet for them both just by generating a second address and second masternode privkey ?
The only thing I'm not very sure of is how do I know which wallet address applies to which masternode privket that I generate.
Also, one you've called "masternode start" from the local wallet, is that it ? Can I stop and restart the remote masternode without ever bringing the cold wallet online ? Does the remote masternode always ckeck for the 1000 DRK if I restart it ? How does it know what wallet address to check ?

Not sure what you are asking exactly. In terms of "masternode start" and "masternode stop" - no but you can restart daemon as usual (darkcoind stop) without the need of issuing "masternode start" again. Does the remote masternode always ckeck for the 1000 DRK if I restart it ? How does it know what wallet address to check ?
Yes, it does. Actually everyone check everyone. When MN is started by "masternode start" it sends message that it's now associated with some vin (txid + output number) where 1000 DRK is, some masternodeprivkey and ip address. You can associate it only with your own 1000DRK because you need to sign that message with the corresponding private key. Every message this MN will send then should be signed with that masternodeprivekey. So when some MN is trying to do something anyone can verify is it legit or not (is 1000DRK still there, does signature match and so on). |

I really don't understand why, with the Coinbase debacle, more people aren't flooding to DRK like me.
Do people really trust centralized mixers?

Near one year we are trying to explain that.
First reaction is, this is for drug, this can help terorism, etc etc.
All this is done with cash too.
Our privacy is really important, hard to educate the mass.
You can bring all your friends, everybody is welcome.
And we are a great comunity here.
I really hope that 2015 will be the year of DRK, and its adoption.

My BTC is stolen from Cryptsy!!! i canceld my buy order and the BTC never returned to my account wtf,reloaded page,logout and login again still gone!!! Anybody else got problems?please report. the amount ? I warn early of the Cryptsy, people should stay away from there. |

Placing buy orders is also not ok,the BTC is not removed from your balance,also i can not generate reports in the tools section,there is a problem on the site for sure. |

They probably have limited support staff for the holidays. I am sure your BTC is fully accounted for, they just need to run a cron job or some such thing so your balance shows in your account. I find its best not to trade there when you first notice something like this. Wait until everything is cleared up then try your trade again. |
