I really don't understand why he flushed bitcoins down the toilet like that. Everything was going according to plan at 590k as people were already dumping constantly. It's not like DRK is going mainstream tomorrow lol

maybe he is in a hurry to setup some MN's .. with the 35% MN payout and all.

I was thinking the same thing... one reason I can think of is nervousness of having way too much money on a single exchange... you want to be exposed for the least time possible and move out of there ASAP. Could explain the upward impatient move.

The market already dumped 40-50btc's into that wall in just a few hours and it's not like he was setting up a masternode per minute Smiley

Sorry about off-topic but has anyone here used ripple. I have some ripple which I want to get rid of but cannot send them to Bitstamp from my desktop client. I add my Bitstamp ripple address and destination tag but it is stuck at "Scanning accepted currencies". If i manage to dump those ripple I will get half a masternode at least Smiley Help is appreciated.

We had one guy in here (i forgot who) trying to get into Ripple but he got so frustrated by the whole process that he gave up in the end i think.
If you dont get an answer here i suggest you try at the Ripple forum .. i assume they have a bitcointalk forum or some other forum.

Yea, I have three degrees and have been in crypto for years but these SOBs made it very annoying to sell ripple. Buying is easy and takes a couple of seconds but when it comes to dumping your damn ripple, it is pain in the ass. Obviously it is a fraud. Why else they would force people to be stuck with ripple. Selling should also be as easy as buying.

I think that was me trying to get in a few weeks go because I saw the signs of a pump coming. Keeping away at the moment because said pump has taken place.

whats the view on trading a few XRP with a view to making a turn and buying more drk in a few weeks time?

Looking at craptsy, other than liquidity, I've heard people saying selling XRP is not that easy.

Indeed, it was me. I had the worse experience with the whole thing. While it is solidly being used by higher level banking and what not, Ripple is no crypto currency. It uses a wildly different concept to the whole trading/tx method we all use and love.

For example, you cannot just "send" funds. You need gateways that will accept your (x) amount of funds. (x) meaning, whatever they can move, NOT what you WANT to move.

Buying and selling is a nightmare through ripple platform itself. No matter how much I tried, ripple trade platform did not let me liquidate my remaining 30 XRP from left over trading orders. I then managed to send/use Kraken which was a much friendlier experience (they had some issues that since been fixed). Did some trading at the peak of the price bump, and was lucky to pull out just before it started going down.

The worse part for me was, (again) unlike crypto's, I could not exactly calculate how much send/receive. Ripple did not let me send out my stipulated amount, and ate away some decimals, plus charged me fees. The BTC amount I had already exchanged were then re-converted back to XRP to enable a gateway tx, and was taxed yet again just for tx purposes, which makes sense in the XRP world... but c'mon, I sold XRP for BTC... why on earth internally re-convert back to XRP just for tx purposes? Made no sense to me.

I did only play around with very little amount (something like 8-10€) but in the end I almost lost money due to that whole shenanigan.  Obviously Ripple is a major palyer with some serious backup, but it certainly is no crypto.

Holy shit!  20k...man that's a baller.  I've been buying in 400 to 500drk in small chunk orders... And I thought that was something special.   Nice... Damn it though.  I'm hoping I can get some more at 59...agghh.  Not likely.  On that note what's the fast exchange to accept dollars to trade with?  That's what's killing me right now.  Evertime I send money to my exchange it takes up to 7 days to clear... Not acceptable.  Any thoughts?
