I was thinking about ideas for that 2nd giveaway.
It's definitely very important to prevent people to just dump PMC as soon as they get it. So what about this?:
- People buy PMC using PayPal, only one sell per PayPal account (I know they can cheat and keep both the PMC and the $ but that'd be a lot of work for them for so little and we can take the risk). - 100% of the raised money (less PayPal fees) will be given back. It can be either 100% to a lucky winner among buyers or we can send a % to a charity. Important part is we don't keep absolutely anything.
We can keep a public log and give it back often so people see it's fair. Any ideas about how to prove the draw isn't fixed?
We can adjust the price according to the market and maybe give a price reduction.
I think this system (or a similar one) would have 2 main advantages: - Allow non-crypt users to enter the PMC world - Make people value their PMC because they paid for it, as little as it was.
Thoughts?

Another idea: Android giveaway. It'd be great to give φ1 (or a fraction) to every Android user (mostly non-crypto users), so they can start using it. The problem is how to prevent users to ask again and again ( and again and again and again and again). I was thinking about verifying a phone number. So both the PMC address and the phone number must be unique. I don't know what people will think about privacy with this solution. Any other ideas? I can update the Android app to support this if we reach an agreement and if somebody can provide the SMS system/API (for example Twilio).

I have personal issues with Paypal, so can't get behind that one. But honestly anything that gets PMC into more hands and into more brains is a good thing!

If we help a charity with donation via sms like this one https://www.wfp.org/donatebytext ? People donate to the charity and we'll give back to them PMC for their help. But one problem is, how we could check if they have really donate or not ?

Would have been nice to have something in the wallet insert some sort of string of characters into each address that's generated from that wallet so you can tell if somebody is trying to double dip. That might be a nice feature to add silently to the next wallet update. for the purpose of giveaways only though.

Does anyone know why PMC isn't on coinmarketcap.com?[edit] Sorry I just noticed the site's main page has only top 100 showing, PMC is showing as position 101.[/edit]

Do you mean all mobile addresses start with 1Mob or something like that? That'd be very processor-consuming for a mobile and too easy to fake. And anyway, users could generate several addresses on the app. Let me know if I misunderstood you.

Sucks that PMC now is at 101.
Did we implement the minimum tx fee in the wallet?

Msg me if you want me to put anything here.

Sorry for not replying to anything today. I'm in the midst of setting up MPOS for private pooling. Will be done shortly. (hopefully)

Mobile and desktop like my pmc address is 19U8DeB2F7mjpKhVfwFFmcaNsj9Wowdqm6 now if i generate another one from my desktop it might generate 19U8DeB2F7mjpKhVfwFFmcaNsj9Wowd2nd and so on 19U8DeB2F7mjpKhVfwFFmcaNsj9Wowd3rd or something along those lines another idea is to have a option to link the mobile and home wallets so they are aware of each other if addresses are different. still trying to think this all through so might sound like sloppy ideas

The U1's should work, but you will need to use BFGminer as a proxy to your wallet. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=299983.0I'm setting up the pool on a sortof related issue. I've recently switched to Antminer s1' s from BEcubes and the BFGminer proxy does not work for the s1's to solo mine. However with a stratum backend and MPOS it "should" work. In any case you should be able to solo with your u1's using BFGminer.

A simple way to identify a user by their address would be very useful here but I really don't think that's possible.

As long as only you know how to decrypt and verify the tx fee relates to the address, couldn't you do that? It would be a separate wallet function rather than part of normal transactions.

I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean addresses from user A would always send tx with fee 0.00274657 and addresses from user B always with 0.00285739? so we can recognize the user? If so, problems are: - If users send their address before sending any coins, we can't identify it. - Users can uninstall and reinstall the wallet to fake being a new user, with a new fee seed. Finally, the wallet is open source, so anybody can decipher the algorithm. I don't think people would be willing to use a wallet unless it keeps being open source. Otherwise they can't be sure I'm not sending the private keys to myself.

A seperate optional feature, lets say "Verify Mobile Address" that sends a tx fee from that address to the network from that address. Ok then, could you not generate the tx fee based on the hash of the current network block, or some other one-time event? Yes someone could always alter the source, but that would be a lot of effort to go to just to get a bit of PMC.

hello there! i just heared about premine and i love the concept! i really would like to get into it and get some PMC, but the faucet is down and i kind of dont want to create another account on an exchange. (dont trust poloniex somehow) somebody wants to tip some PMC my way? that would be great, since u guys have 100% of it 1MCjsNMexwcBzC8Wh3kYU2jQUvefvTugYy thx in advance and sorry for my english, its not my first language cheers, fips Edit: i will also spread the word of this coin and share it with my friends and family! 10 PMC coming your way. Just remember how rare PMC is, and supporting the coin is supporting the future value of your stake.

But users would need to have some PMC already to send that tx. And they could create several addresses and validate them all.
