Update on fork at block 300,000:CryptoPoolMining, our largest pool, has confirmed that they will switch to the new version of the code when it's released.  I will post another update when I hear back from Mining Pool Hub, which is our second largest pool.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Interesting tactic being user on SLR at the moment. Someone is obviously tracking diff values and as it drops, hits the network with 100M or so and mines all the lower diff out in a couple of minutes, then as the diff jumps in response he gets out, leaving a reduced pool with an inflated diff. Nice

If there's one thing I can say about Solarcoin. The management is top notch. Nowhere in crypto land is there caliber of management this coin has by it's very inception. I'm not saying these people are legendary warriors from a land light years away, but I am saying there's no way in the world I'd be able to afford 10 seconds on their time normally and here I am investing in their vision.

They will be hard to come by in a few months. When it hits $1 a coin do you want $200,000 or more:). Just my 2 cents. |
