Update: Josh has completed testing of the new code and sent me test results, which look good. He says he's 100% confident that everything is working correctly. Next step is to finish the new wallets, which the CCN dev team will be working on this weekend.

Hot!

QT builds for linux are completed and tested, everything is syncing to the network as expected and I've managed to download the full blockchain already. I will post more news when I hear word back on Mac/Windows builds which should be in the next day or so. I will also provide a change log and list of new functionality tomorrow when I get some rest... for now I need to get some sleep Cheesy

Why are you using an outdated version of OpenSSL?

From my research and knowledge this is in fact the correct version of SSL (a bit misleading without the 1.0.1h/i though). On linux distributions like Ubuntu the security patches are backported into the current package installed instead of installing a new one with a new name ie. 1.0.1h/i. This is somewhat confusing but does somewhat make sense...if you take a look here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssl/1.0.1-4ubuntu5.17 and here https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssl the change log and latest status on this package was from August 07, 2014 due to changes/security fixes.  For mac and windows however, the QT should show the full version string.

Here's a screen shot of the current build environments installed vs. available candidate SSL package, I hope this helps to clarify.

Some great news, I'm looking forward to the coming months/years, I 'm holding just under 1 million slr and adding weekly and I have no intention of selling for a long time and even then maybe in drips, maybe be able to put my two boys in private school you never know  Cheesy

On another note has anybody used the trading platform http://quatloos.org/ for bittrex, I have only been using it for a week and found it to be really useful, be interested to know if anybody else is using it or similar.

OMG... That's looks really awesome. Thank you for sharing it!  Shocked

Aha!!! That's where all the little SLR trades are coming from that showed up recently on the volume charts at the bottom of the Bittrex graph, isn't it?

Last edit, I promise...  Cheesy I LOVE this!!!

Just a heads up for any of you who want to buy a NiceHash contract to help mine through the fork. If you want to use Cryptopoolmining, you have to use port 5108 which has a higher difficulty setting than port 5008. NiceHash recently changed this requirement so be sure to use the correct port on your order or it won't work.

Also, Miningpoolhub pool has some connection problems when using NiceHash but WestHash seems to connect no problem. Smiley

Thanks for the tip - Just trying out WestHash with CryptoPool on SLR.  What a slick piece of work that website is.  Most fun mining yet.  You obviously have to pick your time & price etc.  But easy as ...  and very good reporting....
