I'm not a wrong amount sent payment. I sent the right payment amount. The problem is that 1st confirmation took about 70 minutes to come.

Ok in your case, you sent the good amount, but you sent to the wrong address. You sent to 188uTyueoR3raGWJAkGxaGgd98QpeMJvXc , and the system asked to send to 1MXz4KmMwzqLMgkpREmQvZBzWrggzRyfon Don't worry, the first address is one of mine so you'll get refund. But be careful, the BTC address is not always the same. Edit: For info, the 1 hour timeout for payment stops the moment it sees the payment, and it will wait as long as necessary for the confirm.

You should really use wallets. I used blockchain.info API before and it was totally lame.
If you are concerned about security; don't use any 3rd party frontend libs (that you didn't write), always check all input fields and make sure you run your server app inside OS that you know well (eg. don't use linux if you don't know how to protect it).

@mux I received an email during the night at 2:42am saying "The renter of your rig #528 [AU] zoo1 - x3 R9-290 has sent you a message! It says:"..... No where in the email does it say the name of the renter. I can only guess. Should be a simple fix that one. Also I can't email him/her now because the rental period is over @the renter of my rig. Pretty sure it would have been 229media Sorry to hear about your issues. My miner is rock solid and I never have disconnects, neither have any other renters. As Betarigs say on their website....."Please note: If Betarigs disconnects or looks unstable, it is very very usually because the renter pool is unstable: Betarigs acts as a proxy to the renter pool." My rig is based in Australia so my ping to that particular pool may have been too high? Ive checked logs on this side since ive just woken up and there have been no power outages or ISP drop outs. Which pool were you connected to?

Does it matter how far a rig is from any pool since all hashes go through the EU server ? So only thing that matters is how far you are from the one (?) proxy server provided by betarigs ? Am I correct in my reasoning ?

Why do people want to know where rigs are located if all traffic is going through the EU? Is it just for support reasons?

It seems like the BetaRigs userbase has finally devolved from the self-sufficient, patient, intelligent kind to the...other kind. Saw the same thing with Middlecoin Yes, to fix this. The next upgrade should include a 0.03BTC signup Fee for renters.

Thanks for the tip -- will be considering this.

Yes ANNOUNCEFull transaction details (Transaction TX and destination BTC Address) are now shown on your rental history page for you to check, if you believe you haven't been paid in full.

is it possible that i lost some coins during a transfer? coz mux was able to send it and he has a proof that he sent 0.03630606 BTC + 0.016905 BTC on this transaction. https://blockchain.info/tx/485f881a06b7045d175951922a120b12aed28274ea520a0f9f1f243c7b253239however i only received the 0.016905 and here is my proof. do i just have to wait more or do i need to contact bitstamp support? as for the other 0.00861616 BTC that i claimed missing, it appears on my localbitcoins wallet that it is now incoming, but jeez, mux sent it to me last Feb. 03 and today is already the 5th! how did that happen?

This rig rental thing adds an extra server in the chain. So miner -> EU proxy -> pool .... if miner is in EU then that shaves millisecs off network latency... less rejects/stale shares.

Ok so I've both rented and leased out miners now. It would be nice if you would resolve addresses or do more error checking on input. I thought I was being robbed then noticed I had left off a .com in one of the addresses.
Another thing would be to just make profiles so people don't have to reenter data for the pools they use. This would cut down on errors too.

I won't set up Windows just to mine Vertcoin. There must be a higher demand in order for rig owners to set up special cgminer for that.

Best best is to shoot them a PM ahead of time on here, that way when you rent, they will know to change the miner. For the bigger guys, they are usually worried most about stability across multiple machines... it's not worth the time of configuring multiple instances of a miner when you have 10-20+ machines that need to be watched.
