I recall wizkid posting a few weeks back that the special KNC port was going away soon to reduce the failsafe blocks. Here's the post:

Please do not stop it before there is a way to configure a higher starting diff. It's not just KNC related

All part of mining....there was an 8hr block a few days ago. Difficulty just increased a few days ago as well. Your rewarded shares should catch-up when a few lucky ones come through. I find the larger pools are luckier but over time the payout is about the same.

More than 3hr, No block found from ELigius

Should have said something sooner...
I gave wizkid057 a patch to adjust difficulty upward quicker a month or two ago - maybe when he deploys that, it will help...

Luke can you tell us what is happening with the NMC payouts? Will those be happening again? I know its been rebuilding for quite some time since a breach way back. Any word on it would be great.

Thanks,

Doff

I asked on IRC over the weekend and was told he has some work to do on the payout script but has been short on time.  I think it will get paid eventually but lord knows when...

Let's hope so, but still manual setting would be prefferable

I know it's a dead horse I'm beating but what is going on with NMC? It's been close to 2 months now right?

Also, maybe take 105% PPS NMC off your website and title of the thread.. since you know, we aren't mining it and/or getting paid for it. If we are mining it who the hell knows, it's been 2 months.
In theory, we are getting paid for it.. just with a very long delay Sad

Attacked are back... But now blocking IP dosen't help. I was redirected from Eligius, then from BTCguild and then from GHesh(oder might be different for different locations) and end up idling on all but 2 miners that have Bitparking still in... But I didn't mine for the priate

Just fyi I have moved over to p2pool until this gets sorted out I know I was hit a few days ago myself.

But the reason for my post is I was wondering if anyone had seen this and if they think it is working?

New release - version 4.3.2, 2nd May 2014

Human readable changelog:

- There's a workaround in this version to minimise the risk of the man-in-the-middle attack of redirecting you to a different pool you don't want to be hashing on. Stratum reconnect will only honour the request if the reconnect is to a server with the same domain name.
- Fix for some overflow errors on stats with massive hashrates/shares.
- Fix a major memory leak which mostly affected hashfast users.
- Fix for a failed connection after a redirection that would then never return.
- Devices with unique serial numbers of 4 or more characters will now be displayed by their serial number in the status bar.
- Support for new firmware for OneStringMiners that will identify themselves as OSM devices.
- Support for OSM debugging and LED modes.
- A1 driver updates.

I dont want to seem like an ingrate but...

We have been very patient on the NMC front. I would appreciate a little more forthright response on WTF is going on.

I also have been wondering about NMC. It's been months since my last payout...

But that's not my main concern for coming in today.

How long does it take for a manual payout? I'm trying to resolve some issues with my miner and it's been in manual payout mode for at least 3 days now.

Anyone have any idea?
