Hey guys, if you have not already reported Scrypt.cc to the authorities, please do so NOW! The squeaky wheel gets the grease. It may take time for them to react, they may be investigating in the background. We do not know. Scrypt.cc has an Alexa ranking of about 8000, The is massive fraud rivaling Mt. Gox. Please read who, why and how to report Scrypt.cc read here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=444495.msg12240127#msg12240127All that has to happen for Evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing. The IP is from the old server. the new server is behind cloudflares wall. Getting the new real IP is somewhat tricky. But there is one thing i can say relative sure: Server is not in the USA. And if you want to report to authorities, i recommend: FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspxEuropol European Cybercrime Centre https://www.europol.europa.eu/ec3and of course your local police. But honestly I do not think that something will happen. 8 of 10 Scamer are never caught.

Reading the last few pages makes you wonder if admin would still call those who've been calling scrypt.cc a ponzi for months and months FUDsters and if he is still moving hardware between data centers in less than 72 hours...uhm..

Well this topic is full of FUDsters some blatantly stupid, others trying to be constructive and prove their point and I respect that. I mean, it probably depends on what end of the stick you ended up with. Some people probably lost big, but I am quite sure there are as many or more who made quite a bit more than they invested. All stories have 2 sides, from my point of view it is great, from yours it might suck.

But if you read my post, you'll see that Scrypt.cc under U.S. State and Federal jurisdiction due to use of colocation.com in New York among other factors. I will double check the IP address date. The reason that 8 out of 10 scammers never get caught is two-fold: 1) The FBI, for example, want to see $1 million in scam loss before they undertake action. Believe me Scrypt.cc is way beyond that. Their Alexa ranking was 7000 in August, it is still 8000. We are talking millions here. This massive, massive fraud. 2) All that has to happen for Evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing. And 8 out of 19 times, good men do nothing.

PSA: Scrypt.cc is guilty of Fraudulent Misrepresentation, a crime in every financial jurisdiction in the world. Anyone who has lost money buying or selling their fictitious 'KHS'/'MHS' token is legally entitled to recover their funds back in full.https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/fraudulent_misrepresentationFraudulent Misreprentation Under contract law, a plaintiff can recover against a defendant on the grounds of fraudulent misrepresentation if (1) a representation was made; (2) that was false; (3) that when made, the representation was known to be false or made recklessly without knowledge of its truth; (4) that it was made with the intention that the plaintiff rely on it; (5) that the plaintiff did rely on it; and (6) that the plaintiff suffered damages as a result.
PSA: scrypt.cc is a scam, most likely of the "ponzi" variety. You will lose your money if you try to "invest" or "play" or whatever you want to call your participation in this shitshow. You've been warned.More info here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1102560.0 [/quote] I second that
