Man, Liverpool just want to do this the hard way... not even 2 minutes on the clock and they gave a goal away. We've been battering and hammering and only got Mane's goal (beauty assist from Thiago of course, but then his wayward pass led to a possible injury damn) but at least we're not behind at half time. Wolves didn't get so much chances but they've come so close... definitely a risk to leave Salah and VVD out of the starting lineup.

Of course, didn't need to watch the City game to know when Villa scored... entire stadium went up in a roar haha.

I'm so nervous Welsh, don't know how to be confident here =D

Did not think City would have this much problems. They have the possession but they are not very dangerous and if they don't change something I can already see Liverpool snatching this one from their hands.

Both Wolves and Villa did their part to make it interesting today

As far as i see they have updated the results. A little laggy still when you try to get into the app but they have updated. CasperBGD is first. Tomahawk you are 7th and im 8th so this closes up the pool. Happy with the top 10 position and waiting for the rewards. Also what are the total rewards for each position and when will we receive them?

wasn't watched matches, nature weekend without internet, but smiled after seeing results in Superbru minutes ago
great round to close it off, 8 results, 2 slam points, but Leeds brought me top spot, last two their matches with exact scores, and I am glad to see them avoiding relegation, was pretty sure that Brentford will leave them points after they smashed us last weekend in second half

congrats to City, as far as I know, they scored three goals in few minutes to overturn Villa, so everyone that thought Villa is not going to fight because 18 millions in hand has to question his beliefs, Premier league is probably most fair competition that exist

sad for neighbors fans, they were so close, it is hard not to mention that we finished 16th, and celebrated whole night, as winning CL and EPL together, and they finished second, with sadness, that is sport after all

Phew just 3 points away from 10 place and 12 on the leaderboard as a final position.I never expected to be that high in the end,in fact I just needed Brighton and Leeds draws and I am sure I would have been 10th place without a problem.I enjoyed a lot this year pool and I got a yellow cap this year which was enough to give me joy although I passed it on to another user.

I already can't wait to start the next year pool,congratulations to all the winners.

That was quite a dramatic ending wasn't it ? I think I managed to stay 6th position after all which I'm pretty much okay with, but I we'll guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow for the final audit and confirmation SuperBRU, I don't think anything would change though.

Congratulations to winners, It's been one hell of a ride. See you all next season and hope there'll be some World Cup pool ? right if yes, then I'd rather we get to it early enough to get enough participants

AFAIK, the total rewards and prizes are on the first post of this thread, and Hilarious would likely send them during the course of the week once he's received all winners addresses.

Damn, what the end of season. Offcourse, not that epic as City comeback against QPR, but still, it was great. Steven Gerrard did everything what he can to help Liverpool, same as ex LFC guy Coutinho. But with 15 minutes City made impressive comeback. Happy for Pep, after failure in CL, losing EPL title would be huge hit for him.
Liverpool game was nervous too, but in the end they did what they had to do.
Surprisingly, none of North London teams didn't choked and won they games by big margin. It means that Spurs goes to CL, while Arsenal returns to their beloved glorius Europa league .

About my own performance, I got into P19 in last round with one yellow cap during season. So, not great, not terrible. And from all 3 pools (EPL, La Liga and Serie A), I collected most points in this pool surprisingly.

I would say both teams (Liverpool and City) were nervous. the whole season came in those two games, under normal circumstances, they would get it without much trouble. I as neutral in this case, enjoyed it to the fullest.

About our Sportsbet pool, congratulations to the winners (it seems that I am among them as the 10th  ), especially congrats to the top winner casperBGD, I'm really glad you're the best this season.
I guess there will be no spectacular changes here after the final recalculation by Superbru.

That was one hell of a last day despite the drama not quite working in our favour. Around the 60 minute mark I really started to believe we would be winning the league, and it's a damn shame that it didn't happen that way. Villa just sort of collapsed after conceding that first goal, although I must admit I was watching it while watching the Liverpool game, and they put one hell of a shift in not to concede more.

I'm disappointed just because I felt we really had a chance there, but it wasn't to be. I'm just hoping the boys can brush themselves off, and prepare for the Champions League final, even though we've lost some key players. Well, next season City are going to be harder to beat due to the signing of Haaland, so honestly I felt this was our best chance for what's left of Klopp's reign. However, he has proven me wrong a few times, and truly has turned us into believers. So, I look forward to hopefully another competitive year.

I was also watching live Liverpool today and honestly I thought the same,I was shocked to see Villa leading 0-2 and I thought Liverpool just need to score a goal which they did although they had difficulties to achieve it and the referee several times did not accord real goals,claiming their offside which they weren't.

As for the next season no matter which players City signs,remember Liverpool only plays 2 games against them so Liverpool need to win all their other games to not let the direct clash decide the title like they did this year and Liverpool was unable to win against City,if they focus on it,they can achieve the title.In the Champions this upcoming Saturday I believe the game is,I think they are going to win and end the season like they should although the game against Real is very difficult.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm worried about. We only get two chances to make them drop points, but inevitably we will both drop points to other teams. I just have more faith in a City team, with a striker just because they can afford to pay players of the same calibre to sit on the bench. Although, I must admit this is probably the first time I'm very happy with the squad, and not just the starting eleven of Liverpool.

Honestly, I'm kind of glad City are as good as they're, and I'm sure they think the same, since it would just be the same team winning every year. I say that, but City has won, what four times out of the last five years? Although, we've only recently started hitting our stride under Klopp. Took a few years to iron out the creases.

But I have left a profitable season behind for me by one yellow cap and the prizes that I won in the contests that were organized specific to this pool. Don't underestimate me for next year. I will definitely find a place for myself in top 10.

Exactly, glad that Brighton saved our ass though. Imagine not even qualifying for the Europa League, terrible as usual but glad that this season is over so we'll reset on the next season with Ten Hag

I mean thats a pretty decent glimmer of hope though for Liverpool's fan. Imagine leading with 2 goals against City at 69th minutes, thats actually much better than most people are hoping for but its City though so yeah it wasnt really surprising at all

Being in 30~ish place is a very good run if this was your first year in the pool.
I am alright with 34th as it is just my second year. As I think most of those who placed top 10 have been taking part in it since it's inception.
You know how to pick your matches gracefully from what I seen of your betslip you had posted on the S.B ann thread a while ago.
So I wouldn't doubt you will be in the top 10 next season.

Got first spot in the final week 38 in the pool.

And to everyone else, well done too. Especially for the first-timers. This was one hell of a tough pool, think you'd do really well in most other pools (I'm 1st in 2 pools, 112/11647 in the Liverpool pool).

I'm personally really pleased for 4th spot, "biggest" pool achievement in my career heh.

Congratulations to all, I tried to make a strong yellow cap for final day but did not make it,,, but already won before so at least I know I got more than my money back just from playing, that is what I call the best thing about this pool that everyone has a chance every week.

he's on another level    last season i won the epl and finished 2nd in La Liga, but i think casperBGD just won La Liga pool for the 3rd time in a row!!! What a run!
