casperBGD has been winning the yellow cap in the F1 pool for two weeks. He is really at a different level now.

If the organization of the pool is made very quickly, then I think that enough number of people would participate in the pool. It wouldn't be any problem if we accept the payments a little late.

thanks man, it was a great run for me last few weeks, hardly expected to win EPL pool
congrats to all winners, and thanks to all participants, last round was a decider in both pools, La Liga and EPL, you had comfortable win last season, I needed to stretch till the last moment

Anyway I agree, let's do a Nations League pool! So we don't get bored with months of nothing to do, which is unbearable anyway because World Cup is also many months in the future.

I just missed my goal of the top 50% with place 25 of 48 but it´s OK.

I'm glad to have finished 2 ranks ahead of cygan because in the German Bundesliga prediction game I only got second place behind him.

Looking forward to the World Cup then,and of course before that to another Premier League pool,this one was awesome and I just saw the prizes in the first page,the prizes are some of the best compared to other pools.It is going to be a nice December and the holidays periods with the games of World Cup being scheduled for that month if I am not mistaken.

Nations League can be a good one to set up too but maybe Trofo will set it up.

We've all been there before, nothing like competing with actual people in a pool like this to bring yourself down to earth, there are times I feel like I'm the bomb and then Superbru reminds me ha.

It literally feels like a league of attrition. I got impatient and insistent for a bit after Gerrard took over Villa, costly wins predicted for them despite form and odds against them and lost a lot of ground in those weeks.

+1 for World Cup (although I think that league competition will start prior to WC, and there will be break for WC)

yeah, bias toward favorite clubs could bring you down, Everton is my boogie team, but Leeds gave me several exact scores, because I followed them due to relegation fight, and it is right to see Burnley out in the end, Everton and Leeds are better at the moment (till last round I counted on Leeds to go down, but changed ny mind after we secured next Premier league season)

Nations League doesn’t seem particularly attractive to me. many will not play in the best lineup, the best players are pretty tired after the season it will be very difficult to predict. (My opinion)

Haven't done much retrospective calculations but I suspect Spurs, Everton, Arsenal, United shared most of the burden of lost points. City and Liverpool lost+drew 19 games between them, and I never picked against them the entire season so 3/4 of their games I got a correct outcome.

Hey man, can be interesting next season having a Bundesliga POOL, but idont know how many people want to play that, because in La Liga and Serie we are a lot less than here.

Think the transfer window will leave a lot of teams a lot to chew on. Not sure Liverpool will be as strong next season on all fronts -- the cups were an outlier as we progresses mainly on the back of second stringers who had a hell of a season. No reason to think we won't challenge for the title and Salah/Mane (they'll be here right?) will relish taking on Haaland and Kane and Son and others (Lukaku? haha) for goals.

Don't quote me but Haaland will probably need a lot of time to get an established place. Reference Werner, Havertz, Pulisic, Lukaku, Sancho, etc.

I'm quoting you, but to back you up. Everyone, you can quote me on this . I genuinely believe while Haaland will be a good signing for City, he's going to take a bit of getting used to the Premier League, plus he's actually quite injury prone. Reminds me of Aguero in that sense. So, by no means do I think they'll storm the league without any challenge. They might do if we have a bad season, but it won't solely be down to signing Haaland.

Haaland when fit will likely bang them in, and be towards the top of that golden boot, however I still think he won't be the player to get those decisive goals. I do think his introduction will give all the players on the field a boost though.

The prizes in the op of this thread are an example following the pervious year as stated: The total prizes will depend on how many people ultimately join, but the previous prizes were as follows:. I should have updated it with the actual prizes once they were determined though. I'll make sure to do that this year.

As for the actual prizes I can't announce them in advance as it depends on numerous factors such as how much sponsorship we get and how many people join. The price of the joining fee is also determined nearer the time as I like to keep it to both an affordable amount and a nice round number in bitcoin like 0.001 or 0.01 etc. The fee is normally between £25-£50 in btc though. I'll speak to jeremypwr about sponsorship and once I know that I can start to give at least an estimate of prizes.
