There is going to be much raging in this thread after orders re-open. Personally I would put a cooldown in effect before trades could be made to allow people to cancel/change their orders, but oh well.
Nothing is stopping people from canceling their orders right now.

My mistake. If that's the case then no issue. People should always monitor their buy/sells.  Smiley

They first paused the markets then really took their sweet time updating some basic text on their webpage. I can't believe I fell for it again. Although Mintpal is worse, they disable/re-enable their markets without any warning all the time.

Everybody got logged out BEFORE the trading was enabled. This was intended and required.

By the way: we have never seen so much traffic! In the first 5 seconds, atleast 30 users logged in.

That was ridiculous..  When I logged in, someone had bought all of 15 and 16 already..but it was impossible to buy anything cuz the site kept refreshing itself..

Perhaps it's time for a new computer..

One logout would be Ok but it has refreshed the page again when i tried to finish buy order after re-log. So it was impossible to react quick enough, i am FPS player so normally i would have won over business noobs with casual mouse clicking speed.

This was similar like if a noob uses wallhack to disable the opponents skill and then wins a pack of bitcoins...

Now a big dump at mintpal will occure heh.

Everybody got logged out BEFORE the trading was enabled. This was intended and required.
Atleast 100 people tried to get something out of this arbitrage opportunity. People with the lowest latencies won.
People have latencies ranging from 5ms to 500ms (depending on the connection).

There were some UI problems because the traffic peaked to unseen levels - we are deeply sorry about that.
The session middleware (for connect/express) that we use has some bugs when running at ultra high concurrency.
The connect/express team has been informed about it. Bleeding-edge technology...
