Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

People who are using bitcoin since long time will never listen to this rumors, as they know if bitcoin will fall toay, it will rise again in future.

Actually newcomers are very weak on such claims, and perfect examples can be found in altcoin section, where investors can lose nerves only after seeing big red letters in posts (FUD ATTACKS) - so they give up from their investments, with loss. Same happening here but this is not so noticeable, fudders are low profile here.

Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.

I just don't get it.

Aren't we used to the price fluctuating by now? Whats with all the crying/moaning about price bubbles, crashing, inflations, Russia, China blablablablablablaaaaa!

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

usually people that created this panic are new to bitcoin, they understand nothing about bitcoin and that price fall is probably still new to them so they panic and they try to be good guys and tell that to others, or sometimes they just hope to create a panic so price would fall and they could buy cheap coins, just that is very rare moments

Indeed, you are right about this partly but in fact people that know the bitcoin to well are also doing this because they know you can by saying this create panic at people that are new to the bitcoin.
If this new people hear this they are gonna sell as fast as possible because they are scared that they will lose money.

Many people are mad because of the value of Bitcoin is now low and they dont like it, they want to sell it with a good profit and the chance is that they must wait a long time.

People are saying this because they want to have influence on the market.

There are two types of people :

One is just someone that is hating on the bitcoin and already lost a large amount because of the bitcoin and is now just hating on it.

The second one is someone that has bitcoins but wants to influence the market and let newbie's sell their bitcoins..

I have a friend who did not join this forum. but he is still very diligent in collecting bitcoin from faucets and ptc. he is very tenacious. if viewed from the way he works. despite getting little results. he remained eager to collect bitcoin. The evidence that he believes will be the future of bitcoin

The people say all about anything, For example even if price goes to the moon surely not missing someone saying the same thing.

Exactly, majority of the people judge the life of bitcoin by comparing it to its value, if price is higher then it alive and if price drops then its dead.

you are right and in my opinion thats a really bad thing to do, there were some price drops in oil and in gold but no one started screaming that the price will never get back

i think that bitcoin will never die and the people who say that just want to make the price drop in order to buy some cheap bitcoins and make some good money in the future

BTC hads become very soon world economics and easier transaction systems revolutionary will control. It's an awesome currency which is can send without any problems and  transaction tax less. Bitcoins in the whole world one of most important part of economical systems achieved which is as others currency couldn't like this with in short time.

Too few bitcoin? I thought there is only one bitcoin. The is no bitcoin jr or the 2nd or the 3rd. Altcoins got a lot. There are different coins that is why it is profitable.

There are a lot of people that is negative about Bitcoin because they want to make profit in a fast time but the value is not even high so that is bad for people who are waiting for that.
And indeed it can takes a long time until the value will be higher of Bitcoin but the most people must have also some patience otherwise it will be not possible to make profit.

Most of those people who says bitcoin is dead remember the 1000 dollars,and dont believe it will reach that ammount.The others are goverments trying to get bitcoin out from people vision and letting them choose where they wanna the money they have.
