Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Becouse thay have nothing else to say,it is like a kind of stupid slogan,gold is dead,btc is dead etc
whan thay will meet real death thay will shut up

Few people belongs to that kind, some people are there who says bitcoin as dead because of the price fluctuations happening now, they will accept bitcoin once the price increases to great extent.

People are saying this because they are hating on the bitcoin, I really hate this people honestly because its just to influence the market, its really annoying.

Marketing strategy as always. They are owners of some big amount of bitcoins if you want a way to make some profit faster. But in harms way to other people who just have a little. Still not good.

Because they are a jealous bunch, most of them are butt hurt because they missed the boat and don't have enough money to buy lots of BTC. So they dream about $1 Bitcoin and how they'll buy thousands if that happens.

Yeah I agree there are just mad because they cannot afford the present Bitcoin price. So now they are waiting for the halving and hope that they then can buy some coins.

Majority of people who keep on  saying that bitcoin is dead are not aware what exactly bitcoin is, they just listen to what other people around them feels about it and starts assuming the same.

I think people are disappointing that Bitcoin hasn't gone mainstream yet and may not at all. I've never felt that Bitcoin has been dead because I never expected it to replace fiat currencies and have a market capitalization of trillions, but if that was your expectation, you might be discouraged because it is taking longer than expected and probably won't happen at all.

I think we're seeing astounding success with Bitcoin becoming more and more mainstream and disrupting the established financial system. Really the biggest thing holding us back is tax law: You can't use Bitcoin in any realistic fashion without being or hiring a tax expert. Shame on the IRS (and equivalent foreign agencies) for that.

Nobody has missed the boat though.    The coin itself today is as usable and buyable as it ever was.      As its worth more you have to buy less to get the same purchasing power.    

The only way that makes sense is to say all of bitcoins use or growth is in the past.    There is billions of people on earth, only tiny amounts use bitcoin so all people have to decide is if bitcoin is useful or not.  
If the whole world started using bitcoin then even now owning some bitcoin will be very advantageous as its still just a story not so much a reality, most of us arent using bitcoin to buy normal things.   The boat has not left, just decide if it will float or sink in the wider world

of course there are many reasons people stop using bitcoin certainly there are a lot of people and a lot of reasons. maybe the reason they are also the same as you think. but the reason is not just one more than that
example my friend  stopped using bitcoin because he was already busy with their real job? The reasons are different
